I too have been going to Casa Linda Bakery my entire life. Most special occasions I can remember have always had a Casa Linda cake. I ordered a cake for my daughters 3rd birthday, and was a little disappointed that when I picked it up it wasn’t the design that was discussed. I did not say anything because the cake still looked super cute and I was not going to let it ruin the day. For years I could depend on this bakery to have the best tasting cakes in town. I picked up a cake today and although it was beautifully decorated, the cake was like dry, tasteless cornbread. I don't know what has changed, but after 30× years this long standing classic bakery is no longer on my list.
