Just don’t go here!! I ordered a 5pc fillet asked the lady how long bc I had my nieces and nephew and didn’t want them to get antsy… she said 15-20min I came back in at 15 minutes they continued talking to a man trying to sell fruit cups and after 7-8 minutes of talking to him she quickly says 11, 35, 7 I walked up and said is my food ready? She asked what I had….. I said the 5pc fillet she then says …. OH what’s your receipt number? I said what #? She goes look at the number on your receipt……. Again good just sitting and ultimately by the time I go back get the receipt just to get my order my food was freezing cold…… I mean there was no moisture in the container a slight coldness even! Like they put it in the fridge and pulled it out 10mins later I was so hurt and mad I asked for an extra sauce and they wanted to charge me yall!!!!! (Keep in mind I ate it as soon as I got in the car) should have been hot and fresh!! The container wasn’t even remotely half way filled!!!!!!! Like drops literally drops of sauce…… paid $17 and felt so robbed!!! I didn’t have time to argue with them I was on my way to class but I did promise to leave this review and warn somebody else about this place’s terrible quality!!!! I I grew up eating here but this experience was enough to never come back.
The location in cedar hill is wayyyyy better they still give a dot of sauce for .50 but hey … 🤷🏽♀️

It can be better .they didn't have salad and the waiter wasn't really into friendliness. She was ready to go .im not down putting the food was great just not for me when you have a lazy person who's ready to get off.other than that .I would not recommend. Its not that great at all the fries was cold .I was suppose to have whole catfish but it was broken of and forced into a carryout plate

I grew up in this area and had not stopped here in years. I'll tell you what it was no disappointment after all these years. Actually I believe it was better. The fish is seasoned from the inside out. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Cooked perfectly and soooooo delicious. I plan to drive an hour 1 one way and treat myself at least once a month. It is definitely worth it. This is what I had:
Whole catfish and fries: 10/10 I looove whole fried catfish. My favorite! This one was one of the top 3 best I have ever had. The seasoning was on point. It was fried perfectly. The crunchy outside and tender inside was so perfect. I devoured the whole thing. Fries were good and seasoned. They appear to be hand cut. Catfish filet and fries: 10/10 I tried these a couple of days after purchase. Put a piece in the air fryer and it bounced right back. Still full of flavor and satisfying. Cookie pudding: 10/10 I did not get a picture. This was light, sweet, and has a great balance of flavor. It would be nice to have more crunchier cookies to offer more texture. The tartar sauce also stood out in flavor, creaminess, and is a great complement to the fish. Get this is if you like fresh made really good sauce.

I ordered a 4 piece spicy steak basket and a 3 piece fish filet, the fries was old and didnt have any seasoning on them , I took it back to get fresh fries and to tell them it didnt have any seasoning the cook proceeds to say there isn't any🙄.So you give out old fries that you refried and had no seasoning to put on it and greasy, the new fries where tasteless smh. The fish didnt taste like catfish let's start there, when a person spend their money on food they dont want to have to go home to alter anything. I feel like Catfish connection is going downhill, it use to be my go to fish place all the time. The spicy fish didnt taste spicy it had to be some other fish cuz It wasn't catfish...Today was my last day ever going back there
