Was fortunate to visit when they the pastrami brisket. Excellent. Also enjoyed the Texas spicy sausage, dirty rice, and the cornbread. All fantastic. I’ve been to almost half of the 2025 Texas Monthly Top 10/50 awardees and Cattleack is up there w my favorites.

This is a hidden gem in the Addison area. It rivals the standard Bbq joints around Dallas. The food was really good, we tried the brisket, ribs, turkey, and burnt ends. The meats were all perfectly cooked. The corn bread is delicious. The cole slaw is on the sweeter side of the spectrum if that’s how you like it. Don’t skimp on the Crack Cake - it reminded me of a huge sugar cookie in texture and flavor. Would definitely go back!

Worth the wait, worth the price. I head straight from the airport to a BBQ spot every time I come to Dallas. The brisket was melt in your mouth, mustard style sauce was 10/10. Wish I would have bought a t shirt

Not much of an atmosphere to talk about, but who needs that if you have incredible TX BBQ and friendly service. Not the least expensive meal you will have in a Dallas BBQ joint, but it will certainly be one of the best. Every smoked item is cooked to the right level of infusion. The brisket, both lean and fatty, are absolutely tender and juicy, the ribs are fall-of-the-bone succulent, and sides are well done, especially the corn bread. Personally I am not a huge fan of the sausages, the casing has a bit too much tug for me. Must try if you’re in search of BBQ in Dallas.

We ordered the Trinity plate with ribs , brisket , and hot sausage , burnt ends , brisket sandwich , cheese grits , street corn , cornbread , and baked beans . Burnt ends are my fav and tender . The brisket was tender and juicy . The hot sausage was just ok . Grits were your normal grits with cheese , beans were flavorful , street corn not really my thing with the barbecue . Cornbread was thick , soft , and sweet .Didn’t care for the barbecue sauce . It was packed . Took 20 minutes to get thru the line which wasn’t bad and there was plenty of seating . Staff was pleasant .

The barbecue is delicious, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is cool to look at while you eat, especially the military collection. Another highly recommended place to eat, but get there early because parking isn’t the easiest and the yummy BBQ runs out fast.

As a visitor from Hyderabad, my trip to Dallas became unforgettable thanks to the incredible barbecue scene here. I’ve always heard that Texas is the heart of BBQ, but experiencing it firsthand was on another level. From the moment I stepped into the smoke-filled, savory-scented restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Wagyu burnt ends. They were absolutely phenomenal—juicy, tender, and packed with smoky flavor that melted in my mouth. It was unlike any barbecue I’ve tasted back home, and it set a new standard for me. Alongside that, I tried several items from the menu, and honestly, I could not find a single thing to complain about. Every bite, from the brisket to the ribs, showcased the passion and perfection Texas pitmasters are famous for.

The atmosphere added to the charm—friendly locals, rustic décor, and the aroma of slow-cooked meat creating a cozy, authentic vibe. As someone visiting from Hyderabad, I felt both welcomed and amazed by the culinary culture here.

If there’s one thing I’ll tell anyone traveling to Dallas, it’s this: do not miss the barbecue. This experience has turned me into a lifelong fan of Texas BBQ!

Definitely, one of the best BBQ in Texas.
Wow everything was spectacular. Customer service was amazing, and food was out this world. There is a reason why Michelin only mentioned and recommended this BBQ place in North Texas. Just amazing! 🙌🏻

Probably one of the best BBQ experiences I’ve ever had. We got there at like 8am, waited line and had beers while we waited. Probably ate around 10am. It’s a real bbq experience. Praise The Lard.
