I always go here for ice cream but lately they have been closed. In the maps its says that they are open and online it says a completely different thing. Wait time is soo long to get ice cream. I dont suggest this ice cream place since there is soo many things wrong about this place

THIS IS THE BEST ICE CREAM IN DALLAS. I’m not exaggerating. Get the large you’re gonna want it. Don’t get the bubble waffle cone though, just get a regular cone. My only advice is that they expand the flavor menu by six or 7 more flavors.

Cauldron has become like McDonald’s with their machines never working. I have tried coming here 3 times in the last 2 months and each time I get told their puffle making machine is broken. I’m not sure what happened to this establishment but it used to be a very good place a couple years ago now it’s not.

We came in here today (Sunday 6/22) and had the sweetest girl help us. She took such care with her craft of making us the perfect Ice cream scoop!!! They give you so much ice cream on a single scoop. I had mint chocolate chip & it was phenomenal. My hubby had the cauldron and loved it. Service was spectacular and the ice cream was great! We will be back. Fun experience too!

Every time I’m here it’s closed. Opens at 2 and it’s currently 245 and doors are locked lights off. It’s my daughters bday today and your inaccurate schedule is really starting to annoy me.

Usually I love cauldron, I go everytime Im in Dallas but this time I pulled up and was stuck waiting outside with my family and multiple other customers even after they opened. Very disappointed with the unprofessional late start and unapologetic attitude.

We stopped in here after dinner recently and it was ok. When we arrived around 6pm, there was a sign on the door saying “they would return at 6:20.” No problem, we waited around at the tables outside until they opened. The ice cream was ok, but nothing we would stand in line for to get. We will give it another shot when we are back in the area.

I really loved this place but I recently found out that they got rid of the red velvet puffle which was really the only reason why I preferred this location over the other businesses that offered puffles. Now that they got rid of it, it's not really worth coming over here anymore. Bring back the red velvet puffle and then I'll be back.

Don't waste your time coming to this place they are never open. The employees do whatever they want here

I wanted to like this place but… expensive ice cream, slowly created with nitrogen as you wait and wait, limited, confusing flavor selection. Didn’t taste very good. This place belongs in Vegas with a robot vendor. There is no replacement for looking in a giant freezer with 2 dozen flavors to choose from that are scooped out and served instantly at a fraction of the cost.

It's fun to watch them make the ice cream, but to be honest, it just felt gimmicky rather than leading to a cool flavor. For example, I chose cereal milk, and I thought (since they make the ice cream to order) they would put the cereal bits in the mixer to integrate with the ice cream. Nope, it's just a regular ole topping like you can do at home. Why even bother making the ice cream to order if you can't add mix ins? The other downside about making it to order is they won't allow you to combine flavors or do multiple scoops. Again, if you can't customize, why bother making it to order.

This place used to be good, but unfortunately, its quality has seriously deteriorated. I ordered a medium Smore's cup, which used to be my favorite. The ice cream was severely over-churned, leading to a chewy, buttery texture instead of a creamy one. It was so hard and over-churned that my spoon could not even pick the ice cream up. Even worse--the mini marshmallows were stale and could not be chewed. I attached a photo--they could not be broken down and had the texture of old, hard chewing gum.

In addition, they moved from having a person physically ordering to a Kiosk. It is nice to have a person to communicate with, especially regarding dietary restrictions. While I was able to flag down the worker, he was so busy as he was the only one there.

I got the Dubai pistachio ice cream and it looked nothing like the picture they had on the menu. Same with the other drink I got, which was the s’mores milkshake. Neither of them had any chocolate and the employees didn’t say anything about it. They just awkwardly handed it to us… The prices are way too high to be doing this

We wanted to try this place but the store was open and we waited for five minutes. We called out to see if anyone was in the back but no one responded.
