The kitchen went above and beyond to make a peanut butter sandwich that wasn’t on the menu for my toddler to go. It was much needed and appreciated. They did not have to do that. Our waiter Eric was on point and very helpful

We had a 9:15pm reservation that we showed up on time for not knowing the restaurant closes at 10. Come 9:50 it was very clear we were being pushed out. The waiter delivered the bill, our plates were taken before we were finished eating, and we were told at 10:01 that we had to move to the lobby to finish our drinks. Food was fine and waiter was nice but found it so rude.

The drinksThe drinks was 4 out of 5I think they could have more sophisticated drinks that you can pair with food. The food was 4 out of 5I had fish. I was so tired of the BBQThe fish was actually nice. I just hope that the skin could have been more crispy but the taste was good. Then the side dish the pees and the potatoes... I'm sure it could have been more exciting and creative. The dessert was 3 out of 5I don't recommend you to have dessert at this place. I'm.sure they can do so much more. The serve was 5 out of 5

Seasonal dessert offerings, great ambiance, tucked away in a hotel. Will definitely come back for a full meal some time.

Weird to have a “ribeye” served that’s already cut and drizzled in sauce that isn’t even steak sauce. Would expect that in California, but certainly not in Texas. We ended up liking the burger far more. Don’t understand how people have to make reservations in advance and wait for this place. We stayed at the Joule for 3 days and it was dead empty every night. You’re better off getting any steak from a Texas Roadhouse instead of this place.

Wonderful modern and classy restaurant in downtown Dallas! From the moment you walk in, you feel like a special guest by the way staff greets you waits on you immediately with great attention. We ordered a few appetizers to start and they were delicious. My favorite was the pimento cheese toast. It was on a crispy piece of sourdough bread, with melted pimento cheese, pickled peppers, arugula on top. The flavors were bold and blended perfectly. I could have eaten several loaves of that bread. The smoked carrot hummus was also very good. The chile peanuts and crème fraiche on top of the sourdough added a crunch and smoothness to your bite. As my entree, I ordered the Farmers Filet. It was wonderfully cooked, perfectly medium and so tender it fell apart as you cut it! The sauce on top was almost a gravy that was subtle enough to still have the flavor of the filet shine through. The shallot potato rosti under the filet was delicious too! It was crunchy on the outside, maybe a bit burnt, but the inside was soft and seasoned very well. A very delicious and filling dish that I couldn't get enough of. We also ordered the popcorn sundae for dessert. It was delicious and surprising in flavor. The blended cherry sauce was perfectly complimentary to the brownie pieces and the caramel popcorn mixed throughout gave every bite a fun salty crunch to balance the sweetness. Overall a wonderful experience and delicious meal! Very pricey, but the quality of food is worth it.

The location, ambiance, and overall atmosphere are great for a high end meal that doesn't take itself too seriously. Food was good. Customer service was good, but not quite as attentive as I'd like. I'm not sure if that's strategically or not. I went summer 2022 - for reference purposes.

Great food, the restaurant is very peaceful with fast service. Make sure you make a reservation in advance for the best experience I highly recommend the carnitas from this place !!!

Tried to just come in for a burger on New Years Eve, and surprised by the “limited menu”. It just felt like a cash grab from the jump, and it apparently killed the kitchen because it took an hour to get our food (restaurant wasn’t that busy) and we only ordered a steak and salad. Both were over priced, steak was ok but the salad was an embarrassment.

Ate here new years eve. We we staying downtown and wanted someplace nice that wouldn't force a prefix menu at an exorbitant price. CBD fit the bill. I called a few days in advance to order the pig head and they accommodated. The meal itself was quite tasty but probably too much for two people (we gave it a good try). It doesn't come with any sides but considering we weren't taking food to go and struggled finishing it that was ok. Also ordered a couple drinks that were tasty. I would try again for sure
