If you are looking for a very casual neighborhood dive bar that hosts some of the city's most talented electronic music DJ's, look no further! Charlie's is one of the friendliest places in town. I've been to a lot of different bars in Dallas but this place is off the beaten path. You have to drive to get to it. And it's not in a good area of town at all, but apart from those things this is a really fun bar! The karaoke on Fridays lit, the drinks are really good, and the vibe is just wonderful. The people are so diverse and so much fun. This is one of those bars that makes you remember why you like Dallas so much.
Nice dive bar, good selection of booze and decent service at the bar. Just pay attention to the night that you arrived because sometimes they have themes. For example, sometimes it will be metal music that they're playing other times, it will be a DJ spinning Electric music.
