Consistently delicious and the staff is amazing! Good place for lunch or even just to wind down with a snack and cocktail after work.

I hate writing a bad review, but what I experienced today was unacceptable. I placed an order for two sandwiches to be picked up at 1:03, but I ended up waiting for 40 minutes. When I received my sandwiches, both were made incorrectly and there was a hair in one. So many customers were upset and waiting, so I am hopeful they can fix their system and maybe have the staff wear hairnets. I am so disappointed. I live nearby and was hoping for so much better. The hair (in photo) grossed me out so I ended up just throwing the whole thing in the trash. Just as an update- no one ever emailed me back. Pretty disappointing because I feel like they had an opportunity to make it right.

Cheba Hut Dallas Preston would be a great hang out work place if they did have the owner they do.. Jasmine is an out of control, unprofessional, ill-equipped businesswoman and boss. Jasmine discriminates against darker toned women, and some men in the workplace by showing favoritism to the remaining male employees, and whoever will allow her to speak to them crazy. Jasmine often drinks at the bar, and then comes into the kitchen to mess with the employees while on shift (there is a GREAT shift lead) so there is never a need for her to come in the kitchen (especially while drinking). On Friday, February 23rd, 2024, I was at work, prepping foods for the next shift for the following day, when Jasmine, again leaves the bar area with her Husband, where she has been drinking and indulging into Karaoke night, to tell me to wash dishes before I leave… Here is the problem, 1. I closed that night, so I was not leaving anytime soon, 2. there were 5-6 other people on the same shift who she literally walked past to get to me (I was all the way in the back of the kitchen), 3. Since Jasmine and I already had somewhat of a “back and forth” about my schedule prior to working with her AND she took me off the schedule for a week, even going so far as to terminate employment without notice. I truly believe this was her time to shine.Jasmine and I began to argue back and forth while customers were in the lobby, and at the bar. Jasmine walks over to her husband as we are still arguing as if she was telling him to remove me from the shop… luckily for him and the NFL did not get up :).All and all, if you are seeking employment, I urge you to do so else where. Cheba Preston-Dallas under the leadership of Jasmine Chaney is not a fun joyful environment. It is very hostile, disrespectful, anxiety inducing, and overall not a conducive work environment.

First time coming and most likely won't be back. It took 20 mins for me to get 2 sandwiches. The guy taking my order wasn't friendly at all. He didn't seem like he cared very much to be there. After reading reviews of such a friendly staff I didn't expect that. There was literally no one making sandwhiches or anyone in a station to make sandwiches. The sandwiches themselves are mid at best. The meat taste like packaged lunch meat from the grocery store. Sandwiches really lack in flavor. I got the Italian which just tasted like pickles. And the French dip and it just tasted like onions. Neither were very toasted. The kool-aid was very watered down. I had to add 4 packets of sugar too it. For 20 plus dollars and i tipped which I wish I didn't. These Sandwiches should be great but I'll give my money to Jimmy's or mikes any day over the service and quality here. I'd honestly want my money back after this experience. Maybe I'm the future ill give another try but this ain't it.

I've ordered through door dash about 4-5 times now and have really liked all of my sandwiches. The La Canna, AK-47, Cali Mist, and Midwest Best were great. I think I'm gonna try the Bomb meatball sub or French Onion Soup next.

Picked up sandwiches for dinner tonight. Amazing! Had the G-13, so good. Husband had the blunt and it was massive. Definitely worth the trip!!!

Thaw sub tasted delicious but the bread was a bit overcooked; the surface was quite hard and dry. The pretzel nuggets tasted great with the honey mustard sauce. The team members were friendly and checked me back frequently to make sure I was doing ok and if needed something else. Not too many people in the restaurant while I visiting. The restaurant interior was clean and organized.Parking: Lots of parking outside the restaurant.

My first time there. Jasmine was very helpful and sweet. I took her recommendation of the toasted chicken and bacon. It did not disappoint. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

My favorite sub place in Dallas

Don't come here if you're in a rush. Took 30 minutes for a single 8 inch sandwich. Over priced; cheaper and better deals elsewhere. Left unhappy due to the long wait, there were two other customers there. Restaurant is more focused of the stoner branding than customer service - the wait was ridiculous, staff avoided accountability. Sub itself was nothing special, not what the pictures looked like on the thousand Instagram ads I've gotten. The Pakalolo sub came with a single diced pineapple and the Jamaican Red was just meh. *See photo* Ordered takeout and couldn't tell which was which, no label, nothing. Will not be coming back.

I was glad to see a new toasted sub place open near where I live/work and even happier once I ate there. Everything we have had so far is terrific. It takes a bit to prepare so I usually order through the app and then it's ready shortly after I arrive. The 5-0 is my favorite but none are un recommended. The price is reasonable for the food and the Berry drink with a splash of lemonade is great!
