I don't know if there are new owners or what's happening but our food last night was horrible. We haven't ordered from them in a while but there was a huge difference. I ordered the jalapeno chicken with no bell peppers (see photos). I started to put my rice in when I realized how very little chicken there was (which you can see in the second picture once I separated all the onions & jalapenos out). Not to mention this meal use to come with an egg roll, now apparently it doesn't or either the forgot to add the two extra egg rolls we ordered. We did not get the orange sauce that I asked for. The Crab Rangoon was OK, the soup was OK, however, and most importantly, the chicken jalapeno didn't taste the same, it didn't have that dark deep rich flavor (also apparent in the picture I believe). Their service has always been good but I'm extremely disappointed in the food. Oh and the rice was dry.

I wanted to hangout in Carrollton for the New Year. I hate going to Carrollton for Chinese food. Or and food. It's so stupid expensive. I live in Garland where it's way cheaper. . I ordered orange chicken and 2 spring rolls. It was 15$. And forgot to cook the spring rolls. You get less amount also, I usually have leftovers. I can go to a all you can eat , for the same amount. So about that they weigh the food. Ughs. I didn't want to go to Garland and come back. NEVER go here. , Please never go here. Thye charged extra for fried rice. Only option with meat is brown and white rice. Extra for Fries rice. Seriously. The picture has fried rice but extra 1 dollar. For vegetables in rice. They gave me 2 extra spring rolls for the wait. ?? Not happy

I have ordered from here for years and have loved the food. Once they reopened after pandemic it has been downhill ever since half the time they are closed, and the food a customer services are horrible. Never again.

I have been ordering take out for over 10+ years. It has always been our go to for Chinese. Last night we had Jalapeño chicken marked spicy. It was bland, with no spice. We ordered 2 egg rolls, zero received, no spring roll with the dinner. No condiments soy sauce, duck sauce. We now have to order online for delivery. $4.99 delivery, $1.00 service fee, $1.00 fee, $3.00 tip, $10.00 total to have it delivered. I called to advise missing items, taste of food, and delivery charges. The person in the phone definitely had a communication problem and hung up on me. Sorry to see the change. Bye Chef Chu, it was nice knowing you.

Chef Chu was a long-time favorite of mine, but it is terrible now. I went in for an early dinner. No one at the counter. Rang the bell. No one came. I still waited because of my love of this place. Finally a cook saw me and turned away - would not come to the counter. I will miss it, but won't go back.

Sooo, never EVER done a review but now I'm inspired.I was taken aback by the below average portions. The egg rolls were tiny ($1.40/ea) flavorless mush. The General's chicken was that & rice... no sauce or veg. The Lo Mein was delicious. However finding the chicken in the dish was difficult (no meats). Good news if you like rice tho as it is abundant!Oh yeah...even the fortune cookies were stale! Do NOT recommend.

The food here is terrible! Kung pao came dumped over and was mainly old cabbage and onion with a little beef thrown in. Egg rolls tasted like they were old and fried in old grease. Don’t waste your money here. So disappointed with the inedible food that we paid a lot of money to have delivered.

Since new ownership took over this place is absolutely the worst Chinese restaurant to try and order from. They don't have a clue of what they are doing they are out of everything including something as basic as fried noodles the customer service sucks do not order from this place until they get their ship together
