Man i was having a very frustrating day and randomly came in to chets (for the first time) and sat at the bar. The place isnt too busy so i know on slow days like that especially someone who works for tips would be ready to go home. But Bryce had the most positive welcoming attitude. Had tables to serve outside the bar and still was very attentive to me and my girlfriend. He is the dividend in the customer service industry.

Loved the chill vibes! My husband and I wanted to get a drink before dinner with our toddler, they were accommodating and so nice!

Not an Irish restaurant as claimed. They have Guinness beer, fish and chips, and shepherd's pie. Other than that, it's pasta dishes and other eclectic choices. Service was odd. Restaurant had an odd smell. Food was mediocre. Prices were good. Would not recommend or return.
I called the establishment in advance for a few accommodations and Jason was absolutely comforting and approachable. We had 6 guests for a birthday gal's night on a Saturday evening. Yes, the restaurant is older, therefore it does have a lofty smell, but it did not deter the 5 star rating. The drinks were AH MAZ ING! The service was exemplary.. our server was Everick and we plan to return based on his 10 star treatment the entire night. The food was fresh and delicious. We all ordered different plates and not one person had complaints. Salmon, rigatoni, fish and chips, bread pudding, coconut ice cream.. not one disappointment! The drinks- lavender old fashioned, daiquiri, The Writer.. ALL were amazing, but The Writer was top tier! Ever Everick treated us like royalty. Do not let the downtown, corner, tucked away location make you shy away from trying this restaurant because it was worth the money and the 0.3 mile walk from The Westin Hotel.
Food and service were good. Loved the decor. They were out of 2 different wines we selected, but 3rd wine choice was good, too. The place was VERY empty, but it was a Sunday afternoon/evening in downtown Dallas. I'd definitely go back.
Chet's is the perfect place to go to catch up with a friend. It was quiet, beautiful, comfortable, the food was exemplary, and the drinks were phenomenal. I recommend the Paloma. 🍸
Staff had a table set up for our group in a great location. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was nice - pretty decor, old historic feeling. Nice selection on the menu. Great lunch prices. We were on a lunch outing from a retirement community so for us the music was a little loud as many are hard of hearing - but staff were very nice to lower the volume some and I don't think anyone minded. Overall it was a very good experience and we would go back. We had the fish and chips x 2 and the pot roast grilled cheese x2 and 1 Ruben sandwich that was voted the best one she'd ever had. We also had 2 Irish bread puddings which were very good.
I read the reviews before visiting, so I was very skeptical of the service, food and ambience. Glad we took the chance. We participated in restaurant week to support the food bank. Vanessa, our server was very attentive and spot-on. There were only 4 tables at 6:45p on a Friday night, so the service was good. The food...we had salads (a little warm and wilted) but had the steak and snapper with crab. Very good!!! The sautéed veggies was seasoned perfectly. I would go back for sure. The restaurant smelled of the old building it sits in, they may need to invest in deodorizers (like the hotels) to rid the moldy smell of the old building.
It was a weekday so no need for reservations but the food menu was a little all over the place. I enjoyed the ceviche!

Service was good. Our server was very polite and friendly. Food was presented well. I was surprised to see that I only received 100 dining points, when it was advertised at 1,000?
Very disappointing. Irish-American menu, so we ordered the Shepherd's pie, which is supposed to be beef in a beef gravy with potatoes. Got spicy taco meat instead, topped with stale pita bread? Crazy. Waiter did not have a clue about anything Both of our chairs were broken. Will never go back. Disaster.
Food was very salty. Server didn't know differences between dishes. Over rated on open table.
Very eclectic menu and decor. Vanessa was a very wonderful server and the food was quite excellent. Booth #3 was the ideal location with ridiculously comfortable chairs. On the will be back for more list.
We made reservations to eat here on Easter. The restaurant felt musty, the manager/hostess were so unfriendly and the food was inedible. We ordered the grilled chicken (cold and covered in a cold cream sauce), french toast (not sure how you can mess this up but they did) and the side of bacon was 100% fatty and soggy. Save yourself $$$ and find a different restaurant!
