Orange chicken and Jalapeno chicken were great. Good portions with friend rice, egg roll and crab rangoon all for about $10. Can't beat that.

Very mediocre Chinese food. I got the General Tso's chicken with lo mein for lunch and it was fine. The portion was fair and you can order a lunch special with egg rolls and tea. It's fine if you are working in the Plaza and need a quick lunch, but I wouldn't seek this place out of other options are available.

I had a terrible experience with the beef fried rice from China Dragon. The rice was incredibly dry, clearly pre-cooked in a rice cooker steamer and then tossed with oil to pass it off as “fried” rice. This is NOT how authentic fried rice should be made. To make matters worse, the oil they used must have been old because it left a strong, burnt taste in the food—even though nothing was actually burned. Overall, it was disappointing and unappetizing. I won’t be ordering this again.

I walked 13 minutes to get to this place and it was worth the walk. The food was good, they have vegetarian options, and the people here are great. They had spice level 1-10 and I asked for 8 and they made it well. This place is worth 5 Stars for sure.

Do not order through Uber. Did not receive order and Uber won’t refund you because they used a “3rd party delivery service” which just means they delivered it themselves and it leaves no way to track order.

I have visited China Dragon almost every week since late 2021 and by now have tried almost all their dishes!

I will say this is one of the best Chinese takeouts in Downtown Dallas at least, especially if you're looking for some spicy food! The service is also the best you could get, and they tailor the food to your liking.

The intial few weeks, I started with the Curry Chicken and White Rice which quickly became by favorite. I kept hearing about the Fried Rice, and tried the plate, and was instantly hooked (this tastes different and way better than the fried rice in the combo). The Lo Mein was even better! For 1.50 extra you get extra protein. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was an immediate answer to my craving for the IndoChinese style Chinese Chopsuey we get back at home (sans the crispy noodles).

You can also ask for less veggies if ur not a fan, and oh unlike what others have written below, just ask and you will be given a spoon; I get one every single time I order rice. Also, spice levels are legit, if you try 10 and you're not used to spice you will regret it (trust me, I'm Indian).

My favorites now would be:
Beef Lo Mein with extra beef (get the extra beef it's worth it!)
Shrimp Fried Rice plate/bowl (different from combo fried rice)
Curry Chicken and White Rice combo (stick with white rice for this one)
Green beans and Chicken combo (same on this , white rice)
Jalapeno Chicken combo (white rice or fried rice)
Moo Goo Gai Pan combo (I usually substitute rice with noodles here)

Only complaints I've ever had are that fountain soda is no longer available due to the shortage of CO2 cylinders (but you get soda cans and some really nice Sweet/Unsweet Tea), and sometimes, since the food is so hot, the inside of the styrofoam box melts and gets stuck to the bottom layer of food (common across most Asian fast food joints due to the high temp of the wok).

Typing this as I am chowing down on some food from there (which I went and got on a holiday coz it's 🔥). If you can't find it, it's in the basement of the Plaza of the Americas/Marriott building. Easiest way in is using the ramp going down on Pearl St. Counter is right opposite the elevators.

Always the same friendly and fast service as usual when I visit yearly. Food is always tasty, and also hot and fresh. I ate my food too fast to take a picture, but I had the lunch special which comes with fried rice and an entree, I got green bean chicken, wonton, egg roll, and fresh brewed tea. Another day I had green bean chicken, half lo mein, half rice, 2 egg rolls, and tempura shrimp 😋
Everything was great!

Th customer service was very pleasant and helpful. However the shrimp fried rice is literally all rice. I literally could count the shrimp sitting directly on top of the rice which was fine it was the fact that the rice costs almost $10 by itself and only had 5-6 shrimp in it. I think that’s just horrible and the sesame chicken was ok I guess. I don’t too much care for it. It’s my first time ever visiting China Dragon and I’m not totally disappointed because it’s not nasty or anything but it could’ve been way better. The cashier was very nice though. I will say this though: this meal was NOT worth $17.38 I don’t even have the appetite to finish it. The chicken has a horrible aftertaste.

food portion size flavor, etc. is average for Chinese take away. But what I find absolutely reprehensible is the fortune cookies. I like fortune cookies, I like the taste of fortune cookies. But these have advertisements from ZipRecruiter on laminated paper. This makes the fortune cookie taste like laminated paper and the fortune bunk

This place is straight up trash for delivery and pick up. No consistency in hours of operation and pick up. They’ll let you go hungry but will take your money ??
