Chip's Old Fashioned Hamburger

For as long as I can remember from my 15 years living here in zip code 75225 - University Park , CHIPS has been one of my favorites for a juicy hamburger !

Great burger spot. We had several. I got their fried onion strings and that's EXACTLY how I love my fried onions! We were visiting from out of town, and this was a great neighborhood find.

This place is one of the rudest places I’ve been too! I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. I was waiting
For over 20 minutes watching other people get their food when I asked about my chicken they started to argue with me and tell me I ordered beef. I DONT EVEN EAT BEEF OR ANY RED MEAT FOR THAT MATTER. Why would I order that?!
After arguing with him for 5 minutes!
He still continues too say my food would have been out already if id ordered the chicken like I claim!

We went there with a group of 7 on a busy Friday night and they got us food quick. The burgers were fresh and perfect. I don’t usually review but this whole experience compelled to write something. Thank you!

I really enjoyed the flavor of the burger. The only drawback was that the bun felt a little cold, so warming it up more would’ve made it perfect. I also asked about the size options for the tots, but the person taking our order said she didn’t have any to show, which was a bit confusing. We ended up getting the small, and it was actually plenty for my husband and me to share along with the 1/3-lb burger. Overall, still a solid spot with good food.

There’s plenty of seating inside, but the parking lot is a bit crowded, especially with the current construction. My husband really liked the old-school ambience, which added to the overall experience. Still a solid spot with good food.

Was in the area with friends, stopped in for dinner, nice fresh made hamburgers, nothing really special to be excited about, if you like freshly made hamburgers this is a place to get it.

My brother and I stopped here for a late lunch one day. The place was empty and we sat in the garden room instead of the dark inside. We both ordered hamburgers and sparkling water.
The service was pretty slow considering we were the only customers.
When the food finally arrived, it was quite tasty so we were happy.
Pictures were not good. Next time.

Fun, hole in the wall place. Friendly service and great burgers! The seating is close and tight but a decent amount. Not a lot of parking.
