It was just like old times! It has probably been 2 decades since I was living Houston right after undergrad and I would eat Chuy's all the time! Creamy Jalapeno still tastes the same!

I loved Chuy’s. My family ate there every week. Sometimes twice a week. We’d take friends from the neighborhood. Then I asked them for donations to our local school event and I couldn’t get the general manager, Jack M, to return my emails, calls, voicemails. I even reached out to corporate who sent me back to Jack. It’s unfortunate that so many in our hood go to this restaurant but the GM won’t engage. We’re going to find other alternatives.
Our waitress KD was soooo personable and attentive! The food portions are insanely large and so is the flavor!
Great creative names for the sauces and they are all amazing cost me about 65 bucks for lunch but that’s including a 20.00 tip.

First time coming here because I was craving some tex mex and I really wanted some enchiladas. The salsa that was brought out was bubbling and looked like someone had put it in their mouth and spit it out, I didn’t bother trying it because that usually means it’s starting to ferment. The other white dip was pretty good though. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with the boom boom sauce with rice and beans, I was very disappointed. The rice and beans were one note flavor-wise and the texture was as if they’ve been under a heat lamp for several hours or made the day before. The inside of the enchiladas were so dry and the tortillas had the texture of styrofoam. I didn’t bother complaining to our server because this seemed like a bigger issue - no quality control or consistency in the kitchen. Won’t be coming back here, unfortunately.
