Such a lovely spot for breakfast — calm atmosphere, great coffee, and beautifully presented food. I had the smashed avocado with poached eggs, and everything was so fresh. My little boy said they were the fluffiest pancakes with bacon and maple syrup! The full English was delicious with generous portions — Great service and highly recommend!
Tried this cafe for the first time today.Full English breakfast, lovely and hot, well worth the money.Friendly staff, will definitely return
Went here for the first time today and had a full English large breakfast, I'm not exaggerating when I say it is probably one of the best breakfasts I've had, The poached egg was perfect and it was proper mushrooms, not those button ones you get in a tin.. Staff friendly and efficient too, We will definitely be back..
That was the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time if not the best I’d highly recommend this place
Visited the new Curborough cafe twice already this week! The biggest, fluffiest jacket potatoes and the most amazing breakfast. 10/10!
Not a real cafe. Not a real website.
My pal with whom I was staying suggested this option for breakfast. The food was good, the coffee was hot and the service was friendly.
Every time I go into this establishment to get coffee or a breakfast taco there’s always a problem they think I’m either going to steal or bamboozle them some how when I was easy to find how could I possibly do these things when you can find me easily for example the last time I went there yesterday the old man put my breakfast taco in a number 4 bag number 4 bag means you got something extra BUT ask me how I know this the checkout lady did the same thing to me last time when I DIDN’T get anything EXTRA my taco apparently should have been in a number 2 bag the CHECKOUT LADY made a whole big scene about it being in the wrong bag wasted my time and had the taco looked at and “remade” when there wasn’t anything extra… all of this drama for a $1.07 I was the only one being questioned another thing also when I went to get the coffee they marked on the top of my lid what it was instead of the side like normal baristas do almost as though she purposefully wanted me to put my lips on the red marker she used …again I was the only one she had done this too… I saw a older white gentleman who ordered coffee and didn’t have the red marker on his lid at alllll…..all this to say I feel as though this establishment really isn’t for people like me…

If you want good coffee and decent pastries, Corner Bakery Cafe is where I would stop by for reliable bakery food.
Staying at a nearby convention hotel, I ventured out for lunch and fresh air. After visting another local place nearby in West End yesterday, I figured I'd try something new. Corner Bakery is a chain, and I opted to give them a try. Not a stand-out experience at all. I walked in at lunchtime to a nearly empty restaurant (should have been my first clue). Ordered my Cafe Greens 'n Grain Salad with chicken, and a bottled water - total came to over $13. I sat down and waited...and waited...and waited... and at the 15 minute mark after ordering, I went back to the vacant counter to ask about my lunch. The clerk went in the back and emerged 30 seconds later, holding a sad excuse for a salad, and said it had been "sitting in the back for a while." She did offer a baked good as a goodwill gesture, but I declined - I ordered this salad because I'm NOT eating baked goods. Salad quality? Mediocre at best. Wilted greens, light on the grains, and not much taste. I've had far better at Wendy's or Panera. For more than $13, this was not a good experience. Yesterday, I tried Family Thais, a gem of a little Thai place across the street, and it was fantastic. Chimalma Taco Bar is also close by, super tasty and healthy options available there, too. In my book, no reason to go back to this Corner Bakery.

We only had some coffee and pancakes, but oh boy, they were fluffy and delicious! The iced coffee wasn't bad either, and the people were nice. The place itself is spacious and they bring your food to the table, so after a tiresome day, you can sit down and relax.
My husband ordered the All American Scrambler and it has a choice of fruit or potatoes as a side. The cashier was rude, when asked to repeat the side options. He ordered the potatoes as a side and was given fruit instead. When he went back to the counter to ask for the potatoes henordered, he was then told amd i quote, they were “out of potatoes. If you want them, you can go to the store store and buy them yourself.” There was also no creamer and when he asked, he was told there was no more creamer available.
Menu here seemed larger than the last one we visited and it was excellent. Something on the menu for everyone. I had the "choose two" and both my salad and sandwich were yummy. Other choices for the "choose two" could have been half sandwich, half panini, or pasta. The mac and cheese looked so good. Casual restaurant where you order at counter and they bring to table. Must get key to restroom. When ordering I asked a question and it was perfectly answered. Can walk to several hotels and Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.
Ordered lunch via GrubHub for 3 people in our office today. All items arrived in a single plastic bag. The brilliant person that put our order together decided that a bowl of soup should be on the bottom of the bag, underneath a Panini and large salad. When lunch arrived, the soup had completely saturated the brown paper bag it was in and leaked all over the other containers, making a huge mess I had to clean up before anyone could be served. Lemon bars were ordered for desert - those were found lopsided in the bag, and the bars were stuck to the lids because they were upside down, which obliterated the powdered sugar on top. When we were finally able to eat the meal, the food was tasty, hot, and serving sizes were generous, except for the soup that leaked out :(
Say they are coming soon for over a year now and promoting a $100 gift card. Seems suspicious.
