City Cafe feels like the kind of place you go to when you want food that tastes like effort, not just hype. The atmosphere is nice--clean, cozy, friendly--and they always make you feel welcome. Antonio set the experience from the moment we walked through the door. We enjoyed our club sandwich, tomato soup and fruit salad. It was the perfect meal to split. He even topped off our meal with a complimentary slice of their homemade cake. We will be back to enjoy this classic lunch spot!

Most reviews on this site are old, not reflective of current food. April 22, 2025 was my first time at this restaurant. Broccoli and beef was inedible. Chunk of fat in beef. Vegetables had been frozen or were leftovers. Nothing fresh.

I went to city cafe for the first time, and the service is good. Man was very friendly. I ordered the ceaser salad with chicken and an ice coffee.. it was not good at all. The ceaser dressing smelled and tasted very close to tuna. It was odd, and the iced coffee was nothing special. The only sweetener for the coffee was just sugar, I wish they had some type of syrup sweetener.

First you smell delicious food and your tummy starts to grumble. Then you see allllll of the delicious options and your tummy starts to growl. Jess is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING and a true pleasure to meet, all of the staff is fun and friendly and you feel like a regular right away. Everyone eating is happy and the restaurant is extremely clean. Lots of seating and they will help you to your car if you get it to go. Did I tell the portions are huge 😳 yes no complaints this place is ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Parking: Parking here is a little tough. They have a very small parking lot that's on the side of the building and a few parking spaces in the front.

I just love everything on the menu ?? excellent quality food!
I ordered soup and salad combo. Very small soup that was just ok on taste. Salad was all lettuce and very little of anything else with a mediocre dressing.

Very fresh food served here. I had the 1/2 chicken salad sandwich and green chile soup. Both very good. Chile soup was mild, but flavorful. Parking is tight in front, but plenty under building.
Parking: Garage is downstairs. Just enter from Lovers lane west side of building. There is an elevator.

I stopped in here on a Wednesday for lunch. The dining room was full. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. The food is fresh and plentiful. I had a wonderful chopped salad with salmon, and tried a cup of their homemade cream of mushroom soup. Delish!!!! The iced tea is great, too. I look forward to future visits!!!
