Super friendly and fast service. Great quality ingredients make for a great new York style pizza. The owner takes great pride in his food and the cleanliness of the entire restaurant.

Great food! If you love food you won’t care that it doesn’t taste like what you’re used to.

I have been coming here for a long time, and this place never disappoints me. Me and my mom come here for brunch a lot, and the foods always come fresh!! I usually eat fritata, buna (coffee) and tiramisu, and we always buy cake for occasions at this place!

My Eritrean coworker bragged about the ful here so I had to drive down from north Plano to check it out. The furnishings are typical of a hole in the wall restaurant, but that's where the best food tends to be. I had the ful with tuna and it was delicious. I tried to keep the toppings separate and scoop a big tasty glob on my fresh baked Italian bread. It seemed a good way for ful novice to get the full experience. I will be back.Vegetarian options: The fuul comes with yogurt, and you can add egg, tuna or both.

The best cake ever!! My dad use to always tell me when he was a kid how he loved going to BELAY TEKLU PASTRY SHOP in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I am glad to learn that the family tradition is brought to my neighborhood in DFW (City Cafe is owned by Tes Belay, the son of the legendary Belay Teklu)! Yummy! My kids are addicted to this place!!

Amazing food, coffee, cake, and environment. Nothing compares in the metroplex when looking for Ethiopian/Eritrean breakfast options. Staff was very friendly and efficient! Can’t wait to come back!!

Never order wedding cake here, they might not show up at all! The horror we had to deal with waiting for the wedding cake on the wedding day and to never show up is beyond words. Their explanation was, we thought it was next week. As a professional bakery, the first thing you do is write the date. We went to their shop personally and paid fully the day before and discussed each detail. There was no reason to mistake the day. If it was not for my family, I would have taken them to court for ruining what suppose to be a joyful day. Shame on you!!

Absolutely delicious food and the bread tasted fresh also. I ordered the egg & tuna special. The only thing better than the food are the reasonable prices. I was not able to add pictures because I started eating the food so quickly, lol.

Soooooo good. Be sure to ask for the breakfast menu and sit if you'd like to dine in. I was an obvious first timer and ordered my meal at the front and confused the whole lot of great staff they have there to attend to you.
