Went for dinner. Had reservation. A little hard to find because restaurant is in the back of the building behind the stores. We were seated promptly. Service was a bit slow. Servers couldn't really explain the menu. There are no drink options other than Agua Fresca and cocktails. Servers took our menus and never asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered the guacamolemol, corn, fajita chicken tacos and lobster tacos. Guacamole was served on a napkin inside a bowl. Both entrees had to be remade (customization was not made on the chicken tacos and there was shell in the lobster tacos). Lobster was rubbery.

I'm a local to the bishop area, and Coco's is a tried and true for me. My service is always excellent, and the drinks are always well balanced and delicious. No matter who is behind the bar, I get the same excellent drink every time. The cuisine is fantastic and is breathe of fresh air from over fried or greasy Tex-Mex we find everywhere. The atmosphere is original, cozy, and vivid. I come here when I want great food and service, and they never fail. Don't forget to tip your waiters, show your appreciation to their dedicatedness to your experience!

Have gone there several times and we love the food and atmosphere here along with the service. This last time we went the host didn’t want to put us on a wait list and told us that they couldn’t seat us? And then told us it would be a 2 hour wait so we asked to get put on a list. So I gave him my name and number to put us on a list and we never received a call. Really horrible service this last time and it sucks since we love coming here

The front decor is decent but once I went to the bar area, it was like blah. The food was under cooked and SO salty! They expressed their apologies, but the salt tasted like the only seasoning they had.FYI, the kitchen is viewable from seating so there was a loud blender running while I was dining.I’d likely never return unless I was a food critic getting paid for my review. ?

Excellent food and service. Homemade corn tortillas, the Mole was perfectly balanced with dark chocolate but not sweet and Chili Relleno was so fresh. Highly recommend this yummy restaurant.

Coco's is severely underrated. They might be in a busy area but they taste like a hole in wall serving delicious food you feel like you discovered. It's partially because their entrance isn't obvious. The restaurant is in the back of a small market. You have to walk past the indoor shops to reach Coco's. Once you do, order everything! The tacos are as good as any I've had, especially the beef fajitas. The beans with cotija cheese taste like central Mexico. The rice and tortillas are also excellent. I'd happily visit again any time!Vegetarian options: There are a couple of vegetarian options

Beef fajitas, guacamole, and salsa were very good. Service was good. Cool atmosphere. Great recommendations from several local businesses to eat at fire and ice.

So wonderfully surprised. The cocktails are amazing and the food was wonderful. For the quality, we expected the place to be busier but we went early. We will be back!
