Would have loved to try this corner bakery. This is my first time at corner bakery, but unfortunately when I walked in, I sat there for five minutes with the clerk in front of me. She never said hello. She just stood there on her phone texting and sending voice notes back-and-forth to whoever she was talking to with her purple and blondish gray hair. Maybe another time. I don’t patronize places that people don’t say acknowledge my presence especially after standing there for so long. I was never acknowledged. I walked across the street to the coffee shop instead. I was the only person in the restaurant at the time BTW.

The cafe is on the ground floor of the Plaza of the Americas. There is a sky bridge from the Sheraton. There is plenty of open air seating in the mall. The ambiance is much better than most malls. The food is good, and the coffee is excellent. The baked goods are uninspiring, with few options, but the breakfast and lunch selections are excellent. I enjoyed my Anaheim panini, which was easily made without cheese.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

They confuse online orders. And they charge me the same amount even if my food is incomplete.

On my first visit to this Corner Bakery, things unfortunately got off to a bad start when they didn’t charge me correctly for my order. They gave me a free drink to make up for it, which I appreciated.. But when I sat down and tried my sandwich, it tasted really off.. almost like chemicals.. and I couldn’t eat it.

When I went back to bring it up, the staff didn’t seem particularly interested in resolving the issue and told me they’d have to recharge my card and redo the transaction, which I had said I didn’t want. Later, one of the managers came over and explained that they had already run the refund and charged my card again, even though I’d declined earlier. Luckily, the refund went through right away, so I just let it go.

The manager did make the situation a little better by stepping in, but overall the experience and the quality of food and price just aren’t good enough for me to recommend this location..

Hopefully it was just an off day and I appreciate the manager stepping in.. I do hope the quality and service improve over time as the atmosphere does have potential…

Delicious sandwiches. Excellent variety of coffee. Location is a 4-minute walk to the JFK and Holocaust museums.

I've ordered from this location several times for delivery as its close to my office. To say the least, its always a good experience. Today a minor mishap took place with my delivery order. I did use a 3rd party delivery service to order. When I realized there were missing items, I called the store, and the woman I spoke with went above and beyond to make everything right. I wish all restaurants cared about making things right instead of blowing off the customers who place delivery orders. I'll definitely be ordering from here again. The food is always fresh and hot.

I placed a pick up order by phone on 01/30/24, there is a young lady answering the phone whom was very rude & seemed bothered. She did not care to answer any questions that I had & she actually left me holding for over 10 minutes, to the point that I had to call back again from another phone. I ordered a bowl of the Chicken Orzo soup and it was okay, but the negative experience left a bad taste so I won’t be visiting again.

Wish I had read reviews prior as I would’ve made a hard pass on this one. This location caters to the takeout scene and orders up everything in takeout containers. No metal flatware, ceramic cups, or plates available. Staff was polite. I was the only customer when I walked in. After twenty minutes I inquired about the order, and was told it needed to be remade, but was handed a bag from the back counter. The order wasn’t complete to expectations as posted on the overhead counter menu. Not sure why there’s a tip request during checkout, there’s no service at your table.
