Of all my years shopping at NorthPark Mall, The Corner Bakery has been a place overlooked. It was Saturday the 10th I was looking for a place to eat, and I finally decided to try. I was waiting behind two people placing their orders at the two kiosks wondering which will be done first, until a girl at the register politely offered to take my order. I ordered a cup of potato soup and a chicken pasta carbonara, took my number, filled my cup with iced tea and looked for a table to sit as most didn't look too clean. My order came out in good timing, but separately; about two minutes apart. My pasta carbonara came out first and I started eating small amounts. It was good, but was hoping to have my soup first. When it came, I switched to it and really enjoyed it. Then went back to my carbonara and finished it as well. La Madeleine was initially my favorite comfort food cafe and was a little saddened to hear it departing NorthPark. But my experience at Corner Bakery was really good, despite that I didn't researched it on Google maps realizing it's star rating. Seeing the low rating reviews submitted around the time I went were mind boggling, plus a shocking one! But again, my experience was really good and I suppose I should feel fortunate.

All staff is very well accommodating and very polite. Every time I walk I am greeted politely and treated with the upmost respect. My full respect to the manager Rico as he always has a smile and knows how to communicate with everyone despite any given factor. Very proud to tell people about my experience here as it tops other places I’ve been to with higher reputation. I’ve been coming to this location for 10 years. Never seen a manager work like Rico. Me and my husband come corner bakery to eat and just the atmosphere and just observe things. Rico does every thing. He checks on tables to make sure everything is good and they are having a good time. He has amazing energy, great with customers and knows his food knowledge. Like I said we have been coming here for 10 years, this location needs Rico to stay.

I had a good experience here. It was a comfortable, clean place to eat lunch with my family. They got pretty busy during that time, but all the workers did their best to keep things running on time.
Over $40 for 2 sandwiches and drinks. Pathetically small overpriced sandwiches Cold stale bread Drape outdated decor Is this company owed by private equity cause I sure does feel like. Yuck.

Kiosk is one of the worst invention as of yet. You have to wait 20minutes just to have someone that can help you grab a simple dessert on display. It would have taken less than a minute w actual cashier. cinnnamon cake slice was still good.

Awful experience. I ordered pasta and a sandwich. Sandwich was customized. They got that wrong. The worst part is initially they brought my food to another table out of sight. Who knows what occurred. Asked to prepare fresh order. I’m sure they brought it to the back, waited 5 min, and brought same plate. Food and experience resulted in a big headache.

Terrible service from the old guy who wears glasses and works in the kitchen. The amount of roast beef inside of sandwiches is a joke and when we complained about it, he was giving us an attitude that was not acceptable. There’s only one lady who served our food who was nice and friendly. We are not coming back!!
