The chicken was so dry it practically crumbled, the marsala wine tasted like it was poured on as a last-second afterthought, and the raw minced garlic sprinkled on top looked like a confused garnish. Honestly, it was so bad it was comical. Never again. This should be an example of how not to cook. Waste of time and money

Five stars across the board for this authentic Italian restaurant.
The family comes from Cremona Italy known for its food and birthplace of the modern violin.Antonio Stradivari was from Cremona!
David Drekaj is a man of great charm and a consummate chef mastering his family’s recipes.
It’s hard to begin explaining the uniqueness of his restaurant.
I’ll begin with the location. It’s a house built in 1911 with glass all around facing a beautiful covered patio.
The menu is filled with wonderful dishes.
We had the salad with creamy Italian dressing.
The fresh toasted garlic bread is a good start.
The lasagna was layered and stacked with
Pasta , cheese, covered with a delicious bolognese sauce.
The Shrimp Scampi with angel hair pasta was exceptional.
The service team is a well oiled group anticipating your every need and request.
The bar is well stocked and quaint.
Dessert was Cappuccino pie.
The portions are large and a to go bag is a must.
The music, furnishings, and ambiance set a perfect tone for incredible dining.
You haven’t had Italian cuisine like this and I wholeheartedly recommend you try it .
See you there!

Great vibes and service. Food is really good but could use little adjustments to execution. Flavors are on point though.
We had the mozzarella sticks (delicious and perfectly melted cheese, a wood-fired oven pizza (very greasy and dough was a little under) and the red sauce gnocchi (really good) with a tiramisu for dessert.
Live music from a one man band and excellent service from the entire staff. Very attentive and friendly.
A little pricey for a 'bistro' but it is downtown Dallas!

Stopped here to fill my Italian food craving. Thurs night, wasn't busy. I got the tortellini Italian ~$22. Came with salad and warm galic toast. It was very good. Ricardo was a good server. The atmosphere is cozy, homey, Italian.

Great family style Italian restaurant in a charming old house tucked away in uptown. When I moved from New York I eventually found this place and it’s my go-to for Italian.
The crab claws and chicken Parmesan are 10/10.

Mid at best. Wine sauce was so bitter the only thing that mask it, was soy sauce.. (Borderline inedible, had to take it back home) Neat patio. Subpar service.

The food was amazing! From the buttery garlic bread, to the carbonara dish that Sylvia, (the manager) recommended, the meal was fantastic. But what I loved the most was the gracious environment that Sylvia created. The time she took to make us feel like family made it a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back!!

Come to this location often and service and food is always great… until tonight! Food was great as always except for the soup that came with our entree, our waiter offered and alternative which we declined, waiter then offered an adjustment to our bill which we appreciate it, but MANAGER HEIDI refused to make any adjustment to our bill as soup “came with our entree” she didn’t offered an alternative to make it right, instead she offered a soup to go!…. DEFINITELY not the service we are used to. VERY POOR judgement or customer service.
