This is a hard one to decide. The food and ambience were great but the restaurant placed the PREPAID window reservation ($102.00) on the final bill which made the final total incredibly high to base the tip on. This was misleading and upsetting. A prepaid window reservation should not find its way to your final food bill. That's ridiculous

Waited 20 min after the scheduled time. Don't expect to see the are surroundings because the restaurant doesn't spin 360 anymore. The food was expensive and not worth the price.

I’ll start with, I’m not a “review guy”… but…
I finally made it to Crown Block after wanting to visit every time I’ve come through Dallas, and it absolutely lived up to the anticipation. I was able to secure a reservation during Super Bowl weekend, which made the experience feel even more special.
Scott, my server, was outstanding from start to finish—attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm in his approach. He elevated the entire evening and made me feel well taken care of.
The vibe leaned a bit slower and more relaxed than I expected, but it worked in the restaurant’s favor. It created space to really settle in, enjoy the skyline, and savor the experience rather than feel rushed.
As for the food, every dish practically tap danced across my palate. The flavors were thoughtful, well-balanced, and memorable without being overwhelming. You can tell real intention goes into the culinary craft here.
Crown Block delivered on an experience I had been looking forward to for quite some time, and I’m glad I finally made it happen. I’ll definitely be back.

i came here for my birthday and had an wonderful evening! food was delicious, drinks are top tear and service is EXCELLENT. salma was our waiter and i love how special she made me feel on my birthday, with all the recommendations and also providing her menu favorites. she DEFINITELY knew her way around the menu !!🙏🏻

Celebrated early Valentine’s Day with my partner. The location itself is very romantic. Dark setting with an amazing Dallas view to appreciate. Salma and Jenn were our servers last night and they made our experience exceptional, both very knowledgeable regarding the food and the city. We plan to come back for our anniversary to catch the sunset suggested.

We came to Crown Block mainly for the view, which is absolutely stunning, but the highlight of our experience was without a doubt the service. Jennifer took amazing care of us — she was friendly, attentive, professional, and made us feel truly welcome throughout the entire evening. She genuinely made the experience better.
Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the level of the service or the venue. The sushi, in particular, did not taste fresh and was disappointing. Honestly, if it weren’t for the view and Jennifer’s excellent service, we probably wouldn’t return.
Five stars for Jennifer — she truly deserves the recognition.

Absolutely fantastic. Came here to celebrate our engagement. Loved the service, especially our waiter David. I had the braised beef short ribs for mains, but the baked brie is a must have. There's only 5 stars, but definitely a 10/10.

Our server Ethan was knowledgeable and very pleasant. The Brie starter was just like Paris. And the sides were amazing. The steak was pleasant (should have ordered medium v med well).
