Hidden gem for foodies. Off the beaten path, you open the door into an eclectic world buzzing with great music and energy. The two of us enjoyed 3 appetizers and 2 entrees, which was the perfect amount of food for sharing and tasting more on the menu. Everything was executed exquisitely, food presentation and flavors were on point and was coursed out with perfect timing. We will be back and often! Great fun date place!

Love this place, the few times I’ve been have been wonderful so I had to leave a review. The food is excellent and I could tell the chefs that work here love what they do. The drinks were fantastic too, and the server is always attentive. I look forward to coming back.

Divine vibe, incredible food, overall a fantastic experience. The staff were warm and friendly. It’s an open kitchen so it can be toasty inside on a hot day, but I much prefer that over the usual frigid temperatures of most restaurants.

Small place but a gem. I got wagyu with potatoes so good ! My sister got the pasta with pork sausage it had a little heat to it ..so good and my other sister got the halibut it was so good . The watermelon salad was so fresh and tasty I just didn’t care for the fish asparagus salad . Idk what you call it . But overall it was nice

We'd gotten a raving review of Cry Wolf from a friend so we had to try it out and frankly, it exceeded expectations. The menu is very unique, the chefs clearly have a great understanding of the ingredients they're working with and the way the flavors work together.Among a few other items, we had striped bass paired with A-5 Wagyu, Oysters with mustard and mango chutney, an incredible beef tartar and spaghetti that my pasta loving wife raved about. If you're looking for a laid back atmosphere with extremely high end food, this is the best option in Dallas.
Been almost a dozen times now and each and every time, blows out the previous experience! Service is always above and beyond, cocktails are well curated, and the shear culinary imagination that resides in a constantly changing menu is pure inspiration in an edible for. Cannot stress enough how delightful it is just to even read the menu and then make the difficult decision not to order EVERYTHING on it! Bravo, Cry Wolf team. Bravo!

Everything about Cry Wolf was 5 stars! An intimate, elegant & vibrant ambiance set to a phenomenal music selection while being able to watch (at the bar) the kitchen work their magic on all of the fantastic dishes heading your way. Thank you Chef and staff for an amazing dinner and experience. Cheers to everything you have created!* See photo captions for more comments

Bravo to the entire Cry Wolf team! IMHO, this place has catapulted itself into Dallas’s top 5 restaurants. Cry Wolf is for diners looking for envelope-pushing, creative and complex dishes. Don’t expect over-the-top foams or Instagram-worthy liquid nitrogen gimmicks, but do expect to be blown away by a surprising number of flavors that shouldn’t work, but just do. My favorite dish was a Walleye with candied pinecones and crispy morels…in Dallas, what?!? So unbelievably top notch.I love a sweet bite after dinner but rarely do I have room for dessert and this place goes the extra mile with a complimentary treat served post-dinner. Tonight was a lovely blueberry matcha situation.Service was also outstanding. It was a night of hail and pouring rain, but the staff ran out with an umbrella to get my husband so he wouldn’t be soaked after I selfishly took our only umbrella. ??????I saw cookbooks in the bookshelf behind us — Noma, French Laundry, Jacque Pippin, etc. Shoot for the moon, Cry Wolf and kudos to everyone involved in this establishment. You’re giving Dallas something to be nationally recognized for and proud of!

The place was magical. Just reading the descriptions of the foods makes your mouth water. When you finally get a bite it's magical and I'm not kidding life changing. Best restaurant in dallas right now hands down. Awesome drinks. The staff was fun, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!!

Don’t come in with a big appetite… I think the hype was a bit much. I went for Valentine’s Day and was not impressed with the set menu options. Didn’t really flow, again portion size was incredibly small. The service was…interesting. Waiter seemed oddly checked out from my particular table, even though she was nice. She talked more to other tables. Chef is likely amazing, but overall portion size was the deal breaker when the flavor was just good and not great.

I made reservations for Valentine’s Day only to arrive and the hostess mentioned oh it’s a Valentine days course meal. When I made my reservation nothing was mentioned it was 100 per person. That’s not the problem. But how do you charge someone 100 for two bites that I can’t justify. We were sat at the bar which was uncomfortable. I just don’t think it was worth it. I had to stop to buy on my way home to get some food.
But for shame I've given other restaurants 5 stars. One of the best meals I've had in memory and certainly the best non-bbq meal I've had in Dallas. From service to cocktails to courses. Absolute perfection
We had an amazing dining experience at Cry Wolf on 10/8. We had reservations but decided to sit at the bar. Isaiah was our bartender/server & was terrific. We started with the burrata with fresh figs, Thai basil & smoked olive oil. Next was crispy pork belly with lump crab, roe & shaved Brussels sprouts. For the entrees we shared the Wagyu Bavette with shaved black truffles & romesco & the acorn-fed pork pluma with collard greens, Dijon mustard, potlikker butter & a 63° egg. They gave us a complimentary glass of champagne each & a chocolate peach tart to celebrate my friends birthday! Tim, the manager was friendly & checked on us several times. It was a bit of a splurge dinner but one I’d gladly repeat again!
I type a dissertation or just post these photos and urge you to go.Experience with the staff was lovely.Menu made it hard to choose--but we didn't regret one choice. The flavor profiles were created with much thought.Fell in love with the environment. Cry Wolf is a great spot for date night or catching up with old friends.
