First of all, this is maybe the tenth dining experience...and the food is consistently good to GREAT and interesting. And it serves as a nice place to take clients and friends for lunch. HOWEVER....and perhaps because of a private event going on upstairs...it was a disaster. First of all, because my party was ALL HIGH LEVEL DALLAS GOV workers and have a lunch HOUR...i made reservations and we all showed at 11 AM as they are getting open. And the party upstairs. After 10-15 minutes...no water no one came by...i found a waitress. Despite her being apologetic and hustling....the service was horrible. She forgot the desserts or could not get them out of the kitchen. NOT one person checked in to see if we needed condiments or food was ok....every time we had to go find the bartender or someone to get our waitstaff over. Even the server was embarrasssed. NOT the good ending. The manager came over....there were four of us. She apologized profusely. She comp'd the desserts (2) and gave us a large gift certificate, which i gave the guests...and begged us to give it another try. THAT WAS CLASSY. SO we will return....but seriously what a fluster cluck and i had the head of Tax board, the Chief collector....big deal folks to entertain and i chose the restaurant. All but ne had not been there before...and taking almost two hours is not OK for them.

We had a great server who let us have the time we needed to chat without pressuring us and the music was OK but not bad to hear over an a conversation

Perfect place for a date or girls night. The food was 10/10 the drinks amazing and we were CONSTANTLY shown attention and service. I noticed managers walking around from corner to corner to check for cleanliness and happy customers. You never see that. It was clean, cute and so upscale too!

wish i was seated in the middle instead of the front. It was my first time and wanted to enjoy the experience

Atmosphere was wonderful, server was great, and the food was good. But, the portion size was not enough.

Love this spot! Our first brunch experience and gotta say, pretzels and cheese dip went to a whole new level as the cheese was served in a cute fondue pot with a candle under to keep it warm. Well played! Bartender was awesome. Fantastic drinks and conversation. Our food was great and loved the vibe and energy. We'll be back!

Our first visit, will definitely return since we couldn't try everything on the menu. Enjoyed the live music too. Great vibe!

The food was amazing; the drinks were really good. We came here for a business dinner, and everyone really liked the place. Our server Carmen was super nice, very attentive and informative. Overall, we had a great experience.

Fun evening with friends! I'm remiss that we don't remember our server's name (from Louisiana) but he was great to work with and made some great suggestions! The flank steak was one of the best over ever had and the rest of the table seemed to really enjoy the meatloaf! They seemed understaffed which caused some minor delays but our server took good care of us and kept us informed throughout the 2 hours

Came here on a Saturday night to celebrate my son's birthday. We were given the option of sitting upstairs and we took it! So glad we did. Yes it was a cold weekend but they have the open air upstairs covered with heavy clear covering. That coupled with the space heaters kept the temperature perfect! Didn't even need our jackets. You get a clear view of the downtown skyline. Great selection of food and quality was on point. Service was great! We had several people checking on us throughout the night. The vibe, food and service make this a good choice for future gatherings!

Always a great dining experience at Culinary Dropout - Dallas. This was my first time dining on the patio, and I enjoyed it! The food is delicious, the service is amazing, and the environment is inviting. Whether you want to watch live sports or have a quiet table to converse with who you came with, this restaurant offers it all. I highly recommend giving it a try.
