It was the 1st really cold day of the year and I couldn't think of anything better than to have some caldo de rez for lunch. Cuquita's has some bomb tacos so I knew I couldn't go wrong by trying their caldo. It was steaming hot and it warmed up my soul. Big pieces of potatoes, carrots and other veggies. I ordered the chili relleno with beef and flautas plate, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat it since I had to leave unexpectedly. I still paid the $48.00 for the meal(that’s with a tip). I gave them 3 stars for the presentation since I had to mark something.

I don't live close to this restaurant, but they are one of the few Mexican restaurants that sell lingua tacos. My other half enjoys the menudo.
The plus is the Mexican stores with the sweet breads. Unfortunately, I don't have this where I live either. The staff is nice ( I've only had one time where we had a waiter that did not speak English and I don't speak Spanish so we had to use our phones to translate) and authentic tasting refried beans and...
