Me and my boyfriend were excited to grab some dairy queen on our way back home from out of town and searched the time this location closed before we got there . the closing time said 10 pm so we were in the clear , we arrived at 9:20 , they shut the lights off and ended up telling us that they were closed . we were both frustrated with them being unprofessional and because we drove to this certain location.

Arrived here to order dinner for me and my family. Biggest mistake EVER!! OK, So I attempt to order and ask for a " Burrito Supreme" the young lady goes on to say "WE don't sell Burrito Supremes". Her response was puzzling to me, so I ask if they had been taken off the menu . Her response was we sell a Burrito Deluxe not a supreme! I immediately thought to myself ; should she have not just offered the burrito deluxe because clearly I only used the wrong verbiage. I do believe management would agree with me instead of the answer she gave. I felt humiliated and I apologized for saying the wrong thing. I pulled to the window , paid the cashier but when she returned with my receipt she thought it was important to tell me I was a penny short but its ok. I am like WOW again, shouldn't she have just asked me for an additional penny instead of mentioning that she put a whole penny in for me or how about just say nothing ??!!? I felt humiliated again but just laughed it off to myself. I noticed all the NOW HIRING signs everywhere so maybe she was overworked and or frustrated with DQ, but is it ok to be an complete A Hole to paying customers??? I make it back home 15 mins away then realize I was not given any drinks after I ordered combos. SMH..I know a person can forget but after what I experienced, I wonder if she did it purposely. I am always skeptical of this location due to them being extremely slow anyway. I have dealt with this DQ ONLY because there are just not too many choices in the rural area I live, However, I will starve before I return. Suggestion, talk to your staff about their attitudes it speaks volumes of the management here. If you cant get pleasant employees maybe close the entire store until you can .
