I was skeptical when I want in but wow... the tomatoe bisk soup was something people right song's about.

Recommended dishes: DGC Grilled Cheese

Decided to finally try DGC after passing it a few times, we have a place in Chicago that has a similar concept that I am a big fan of so I thought that could be the case here. I ordered the Cattleman's Grilled Cheese (brisket, muenster, gouda, yellow cheddar on Rustic with BBQ sauce on the side), fries, strawberry lemonade and the blueberry pound cake. I received a regular grilled cheese, no muenster, no gouda, and DEFINITELY no brisket. Wouldn't order the fries again, no idea what was going on with the seasoning here. The strawberry lemonade was pretty good, for delivery orders would probably recommend no ice as it was a bit watered down. I like that the blueberry poundcake came deconstructed so that the sauce didn't make it too soggy. That's probably the only thing that I would consider returning for.

My favorite sandwich here is the Cuban with ghost pepper cheese with a side of onion rings.

First time and it was great! Enjoyed the food and service, too bad they don't have other locations. I live in Arlington and came over that way for an event. I have another event scheduled over there soon and I will return back to the restaurant! The brisket grilled cheese sandwich with fries , very good!!

Great atmosphere but even with only two other occupied tables in the restaurant we received terrible service. The waiter was more concerned with visiting with coworkers than taking orders and delivering food. We likely will not be back.

The food was good as this was my first time here, but I just couldn’t get over the customer service. The owner and server were so attentive and not in that annoying restaurant way, (you know what I’m talking about) and they were beyond friendly in such a genuine way that made it hard to leave. It’s really hard to put it in words. I have “boycotted” businesses in my own way but how they’ve treated me or even other customers so I am very particular about how a business treats their patrons, especially being a business owner myself.

The grilled cheese sandwiches are always so amazing and so were all of the appetizers! Also, the server was amazing and she was so sweet to us. I would definitely come back!
