DanSungSa restaurant's theme is awesome, place looks really cool. Only let down is the food and management. The now closed Carrollton location DanSungSa 2 had the best chef in it and owner who is down to earth. The plus side is, this place is open really late!

I was not prepared. I was not prepared spiritually, mentally or physically. Once in a lifetime food perhaps.I ordered the extra spicy chicken and it took me to another realm. It was not only delicious but spiritually satisfying. I hope they pay that cook his weight in gold. Blew me away. And yeah long line...but they are superb hosts and food comes out quick. Drinks were solid too.

Our server Ellen was amazing & so sweet! The whole staff was attentive to our table. Personally had the lychee soju cocktail & loved it. We were a table of 5 and shared everything so we can try it all and my favorite was the Spicy Garlic Chicken rice. Will be back!

It doesn’t make sense to have everywhere that you close at 3 or 4 but you stop serving food at 1:15? So for 1 hour and 45 until you close you can’t serve food? You make up when the kitchen is closed it’s never always the same time. Honestly so annoying when you go all the way out of you way to come here and the kitchen is always closed whenever they feel like it but on Google and on the door says closed at 3 am and 4 am every night just to really not be open. What a waste of money used to get here. Change your hours if you’re not even going to serve food or drink starting 1 hour and 45 minutes before you close, that’s ridiculous.

I got tricked in the reviews and TikTok/Instagram. The place does look a little unique, but it's unnatural for there to be so many 5 star reviews naming a particular server, *ahem* Ellen, on one hand and then a few 1 stars denouncing the service next. Whether management is having their one personable server ask customers for reviews or there is a more nefarious method at play, the reviews here are nonetheless skewed.

Ellen was a great host! Food was delicious and proportions were bigger than we expected, had some saved for lunch. Will definitely be coming back! Pro tip, if the waiter says it’s spicy…it’s spicy! She offered to tone it down but we decided to stick with the heat. Was so good of you have a high heat tolerance. Great place with great atmosphere and music.
