Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse earns a flawless 5 stars—prime steaks, impeccable service, and upscale vibes make it Dallas fine dining at its finest. I went for the signature dry-aged bone-in ribeye (32 oz), seared to perfect medium-rare with a caramelized crust that locked in juices, paired with loaded baked potato oozing sour cream, chives, and butter, plus creamed spinach rich with Parmesan and smoky bacon. Every bite was tender, flavorful perfection, elevated by house-made steak sauce and sea salt flakes.Service stands out: suited servers anticipate needs, sommelier nailed a bold Cabernet pairing, and complimentary bread service (warm popovers with whipped honey butter) started strong. Sides like lobster mac 'n cheese (truffle-infused, gooey shells) and asparagus with hollandaise were flawless. Desserts seal it—crème brûlée torch-cracked to creamy custard heaven. Polished ambiance with white tablecloths, live piano some nights, and city views. Pricey but worth every cent for celebrations or treating yourself. Dallas steakhouse royalty!

We reserved a private room for an evening event and the serving and host staff were incredible. They made the entire night special for our team from the moment we stepped in to the building to the second we left. Special s/o to the host working on 3/2, I didn’t catch his name. He assisted with bringing my items upstairs and was kind enough to check in. Donovan and Sam were an amazing duo during the cocktail hour and main dinner event. They were attentive and present. They considered our needs to the best of their abilities and they seem to be unicorn employees. Best servers I’ve had!

Food was really good but they were supposed to pack a lobster mac and cheese to go but they didn't put it in with our left overs. It's just way too expensive to forget to include things you paid for. We were too far away when we realized. So disappointed.

Update: they called and offered a free one once we returned- very sweet of them to make it right.

This place was amazing and Chef M deserves the highest praise for the selection and ability to make everything mouth watering. From the crab cakes to the cheesecake cups, you feel like you’ve been pampered beyond what you deserve.

Mallory was a fantastic server with the best slicing ability ever! Brian was on point and never left a glass empty!

Honestly, I feel bad even writing any of this because the restaurant was clearly overbooked and understaffed; but they still had no problem taking my money. This was by far the worst premium steakhouse experience I ever had, and I’ve been to plenty. Check my reviews. If I ever decide to try Del Frisco’s again, I will go to the location in Plano. That is unlikely though.

The food was decent, warm but not hot like one would expect, but that was the least of my issues with this restaurant. When I pay hundreds of dollars for 2 at a steakhouse, I expect premium service.

I had to chase anyone who would pay any mind to us around for another cocktail round. They brought out our sushi and yellowtail appetizers with no chop sticks or soy sauce, and after waiting around for 10 mins for someone to check on us I got up and asked for some. The Caesar salad dressing needs to be rethought. I’ve had better grocery store kits that come prepacked in the produce section. The dressing was bland and had no texture, and got exactly 2 croutons.

We then experienced 30 minutes between each course with no check-in by our waitress. Plates stacked up after each course on the table and no one picked them up until the next dish came. A busgirl broke a wine glass on the floor, and even though they gave it a sweep there were still chunks of sharp glass around my table.

At another table next to us, a man with his wife and mother, got up and left for what I assume were the same service reasons in describing in this review. I didn’t see them get wait on once. After that, a food runner came out and placed their entrees on the table and it was at least half an hour before any of the clueless staff noticed that they were gone. The only highlight of the night was the guy who proposed to his girlfriend one table over.

I’ve been several times but the last couple of times have not been good. Valentine’s Day was absolutely awful. The food was okay. I was charged $3 to add a splash of baileys to my espresso and wasn’t told about the extra charge until we received the ticket and another extra $3 for bread when we spent almost $300 for a steak baked potato and surf & turf trio no side 2 cocktails for 2people. We waited about 15 minutes for anyone to take our order. The baked potato wasn’t cooked fully but the steak was just okay. Some pieces rare when I asked for Medium. The host (blk lady) was extremely rude to some people including myself. I assume she was overwhelmed from how busy it was and seating us who waited way longer than reserved time. It was no excuse for her behavior. We will not be going back.

I wanted to get out, listen to some live music, and enjoy a good meal without breaking the bank, so I stopped by Del Frisco’s on a Wednesday night for their Shucked, Fried & Stirred bar special.

The introduction was a bit off-putting. The hostess initially told me they didn’t serve the dish and that it was only available at the Grill, not the restaurant. I pulled it up online to show her, but she still seemed unsure. When I went to the bar, both bartenders said the same thing—until someone finally pulled out the menu and there it was, listed right at the top. Not the best first impression.

Once sorted, I ordered the Shucked, Fried & Stirred special, which is available at the bar only. For $39, you get a half dozen oysters, fries, a petite salad, and a martini—solid value. The food, paired with a fantastic entertainer singing and playing piano throughout the evening, completely made up for the earlier confusion.

Overall, it ended up being a great solo date night spot, and I’d definitely return.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary at Del Frisco's tonight - as we have for each of the last 2 years. There is not enough time in the day to go over all of the positive things I have to say about this place. John and Marisa were fantastic servers. John was very hospitable, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food, service, and ambience continues to be top notch every time we dine. We will continue to enjoy Del Frisco's for years to come.
