It was great after a long day
Came here at 545 am today. Stood at the hostess stand for literally 2-3 minutes. A waitress walked by and didn't even say nothing. A guy comes from the back and tells me to sit anywhere. About 5 mins later same guy says my server will be with me shortly. 5 mins later the original waitress who didn't speak comes and with the countenance of rude and unhappy asks "What you want?". And then 20 mins later I am still the only one there with a couple waiting for a to-go and still no breakfast. She hasn't check on me and when she sees I'm looking around says "I'm so waiting on your food." I said how I'm the only one here, she rolls her eyes and says "what, the other cook just got here." I said don't worry about it I'm leaving. She walks in the back don't whatever to me and saying don't cook the biscuit and gravy he's leaving. Disgusting.

We walked in plenty of booths open. Waitress asked how many? We said 2 and then she just ignored us. She didn't take our names. Didn't say it will be this long please have a seat. Just ignored us. For 15 minutes we stood there and no one else said anything to us. We left.

So it all started when I walked in the door, I was frozen because the weather was in the teens. I took an Uber to get there, but waiting for that Uber I almost froze. So I'm greeted by a young gentleman who asks me if I wanted to order. Then asked if it was to go, I responded with a firm no, I would like to dine in. He said take a seat and I'll be with you soon. Now I will have to say this it was 4am and there were only two other tables. After he spent time taking care of the other guests and a togo order, he came over asked if I wanted anything. I said I would like coffee, plus I already knew what I wanted. I proced to give him my order, but stops me and says I have to get the tablet. When he returns I asked him if he had a an electrical plug I could use to charge my phone, it's at 3% and I want to make sure I could use my phone to pay him. He shows me where the plugs were, and then asked I was sure I could pay for my order. I was stunned, I told him I could very much pay for it and to not profile me. He's manager came out after hearing outing altercation and told him quit being nosey and leave me alone. So I give him my order....coffee, chicken fried steak breakfast with extra crispy hash browns and eggs over hard. They don't have sourdough toast only Seven Grains and wheat but I was offered a stack of pancakes, which I chose. I then waited an excessive long time for my order. He brings out my stack of pancakes, and leaves. Then next he brings out my breakfast, the hash browns are not extra crispy so I send them back. He then proceeded to ask me if I wanted anything to drink, stunned I gave him the evil eye and quickly responded with "oh yah, you wanted coffee". He brings me a cup of coffee and a thermos so I can do my own refill. That coffee was so old, it was horrible. He then is cleaning off tables and flirting with a to go order girl and counting his tips, before he looks over at me, you could see the light bulb go off in his head. He goes to the back and grabs my food and drops it in from of me. Everything is lukewarm and barely digestable. He drops the check on the table along with my meal, and I can use the QR code to pay. After a few minutes I go ahead and pay for my meal, and tip appropriately. He then came over and informed me that his shift was ending, and could I pay my bill so he could close out. I informed him that it was already paid. He oh okay, I had checked to see. I said well maybe you'll want to check next time instead of coming over here and making assumptions. If I could give zero stars that wouldn't be enough, it needs to be negative 1000 stars. I will say the next waitress that came on shift, gave the best cup of coffee I've had in awhile.

so honestly we usually have a good experience but today the waitress (a woman with glasses and a black Bob hair cut) seemed in a bad mood and gave a bit of an attitude??? I honestly don't know why but this has happened before. The foods good, the atmosphere is alright just that other customers like to talk about us, but the service is usually great. Especially when this one guy is our waiter, but I don't know what we did to our waitress for today to give us attitude and didn't even let us finish ordering. Honestly good luck to whoever had her🤷♀️

Everything was good only thing is that Mayra could’ve had better customer service. She questioned my order as I was saying it and on top of that didn’t bother to ask if everything was good on our side we needed syrup & other items and instead conversated with her coworkers. On top of that she asking us to automatically give her good reviews and taking our phones & typing her own responses on google reviews.

I walked in the restrooms and they are disgusting I wish I would have taken photos I don’t know how the employees could even use them they had brown/orange liquid all over them. The food was good but after seeing that restroom I’m not returning 🤮

Sorry service , waiter looked terrible, shower shoes, pants sagging to his bottom , like where is your uniform, he was wearing jeans . His performance matches his uniform lazy , never asked anything no refills, never anything. The food , the cook did really good and looked very much like picture, Food tasted good also , the scenery was ok , bathroom needed cleaning but I give the a 8 for overall look . Waiter needs improvement and learn to ask and just leave extra napkins always .

I went to the location off Medical District in Dallas,Tx and it was awesome! Lamont is an excellent server, it was like visiting a good friend. The whole staff is friendly and my food was hot, fresh and waiting time was minimal. I really enjoyed meeting them❤️

Since 2007 I been coming here to this Denny's and the staff is welcoming and makes me at home especially Ricardo and Jose. I always feel at home when I get either ricardo or Jose they feel like family to me and I love them dearling and I highly recommend for Ricardo or Jose to serve you and you won't regret it
