I typically always grab food here when connecting a flight through Love Field. Breakfast with brisket can’t be beat!

Food was tasty, expensive drinks, better off buying them from Hudson, and after all said and done my fries were missing... something like fries seems so obvious to miss and having to complain for that is so annoying, especially in a crowded airport... also didnt get my texas toast with the 2 meat plate... absolutelt rediculous

Brisket no bueno. This is Texas, Dickies! C’mon

Brisket’s not really brisket. It is a dry, flavorless roast.

I use to love having a stopover in DAL just to get Dickeys in between my flights. I’ll go someplace else unfortunately going forward. I asked for a brisket sandwich and fried okra. The cashier told me that the cooks don’t feel like cooking that today. I asked for napkins after I paid for my food and was rudely told there are in the container. There was none there and I mentioned that and the dude just shrugged. Really really bad customer service. It’s such a shame it’s went downhill this badly.

Even considering it's Airport food, this place just barely made mediocre. The barbecue I got was about half fat. Just one gigantic lump of fat. The beans and bacon, had no bacon so I'm not sure if that's the way they serve it or if I just got an order that like that. But perhaps most disturbing was their tendency of rushing you through the line, sort of throwing things at you. The woman server in my case said "your second side sir", I didn't know my meal came with a second side but I ordered one, only to get to the cash register and find out that was extra. She also asked me what type of condiments for the sandwich on the lady behind me in line. Slow down just a bit and take care of your customers.

Never been disappointed in Texas bbq until I ate here! Absolute garbage, the brisket tastes like pot roast, the chicken breast is like rubbery lunch meat! To top it all off i got food poisoning aswell, never go to this place!

Update: It is really disappointing how Dickey's responded with this generic reply instead of addressing the issues I brought up. They are proving my point that Dickey's has just become another poorly managed chain restaurant.

When is something that is defined as "homemade" not homemade? When in comes in a package that says Monarch Ranch and is obviously something that was made far away in a factory - no home involved. I hate that Dickey's has fallen so far - I have been eating their brisket since they were family owned and the family was behind the counter. Now I paid almost $20 for a sandwich combo that should have been called a slider. Two small pieces of meat that even though I asked for sliced thin and lean, was mostly fat. I guess you could say they did slice it think though -there wasn't much to those two meager slices on my sandwich. I asked for sauce on the side which seemed to really annoy them. Since I was getting ready to get on a plane, that seemed like a better option. After he poured out a thimble's worth of sauce, and I asked for more he seemed really annoyed, and after they bagged my order they didn't put any sauce in the bag. I guess they showed me! I know the Dickey's yellow cup is a branding item, but what a landfill filler! So much waste for no reason.

I used to look forward to getting a Dickeys Ham and Cheese omelet before I boarded my flight, but those are gone too. Time to start bringing my own food - at least then I will have homemade ranch and my sauce will be in the bag.

Had the brisket. Meat was loaded up, then as the fixings were going to be put on top ( pickles) staff grabbed 1/4 of the meat and took back to the chopping board.

I stood there waiting for it to come back ( figured there was a bone or too much fat). Stood there for a few seconds and asked why he took a hunk of meat off. Didn't get an answer.

Felt very awkward and Indian giving.

Once the sandwich moves to the next station, won't mess with my meet.

Little bit dry, other average food at an airport.
Would love to try one of the real restaurants and see if it gets better.

Also the screen forcing you to tip is a big awkward as well.

Brisket for breakfast - always a win! Just remember to slice ACROSS the grain, not with the grain. Makes a huge difference!

The gentleman helping me behind the counter was knowledgeable on food items and enlightened me with fan favorite combinations. I ordered a combo involving turkey breast with sweet bbq, two sides & a tea.

The turkey breast was GOOD, like if you had a close family member smoke a turkey breast in his own home-built smoker; the meat was tender and delicious!
Let’s be honest, any texas bbq is going to have a kick to it. The sweet bbq had a slight above mild kick to it than what you’d expect for a sweet bbq, I prefer that over original bbq they serve thats just me.

The mac&cheese reminds me of a mix of chick-fil-a and popeye’s, if popeye’s didn’t have the layer of cheese on top if that makes sense.

Mashed potatoes were ?, just get em- you won’t be disappointed. It has a mix of potato chunks and skins in the mesh.

Tea was good, reminds me of McDonald’s quality just in a bigger cup.

I only had the brisket so I can’t speak to the other meats. The brisket is not brisket. Think of it as more of dry pot roast with no gravy. Literally barely edible. A true brisket should be moist on its own with tons of flavor and not require any sauce. Simply put disappointing.

If I were you, try something else and if it is also dry and flavorless please let others know.

The BBQ we had here in our breakfast burritos was so much better than in a BBQ restaurant in Tulsa! We enjoyed the food! Plus the line was shorter than in the other restaurants in the airport.

BUYER BEWARD: CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!
Firstly, I attempted to simply submit my feedback through the website rather than write a negative review, but (of course) the DAL airport location is not listed in the dropdown of locations on their website. Second, the price on the menu for an iced tea ("Big Yellow Cup" is $3.75, but they charge you $3.99. While a small overcharge, it's insulting that they are either lazy and incompetent or else malicious - overcharging literally thousands of customers per day. Finally, there was also a $.39 surcharge for "Recycling", yet this is not on the menu anywhere either. Not only that, but I could not find any information on the airport's website or via Googling that any such program or mandatory fee exists (I contacted the airport as well) - which also indicates that either this is a hidden fee or at a minimum it is not disclosed anywhere that this is a mandatory airport tax.
