The meat was good. The fried okra was over cooked and overly salted. The Texas Toast wasn't toast just a thick piece of bread. The Macaroni was delicious. Overall I am kind of disappointed Dickey's is usually better than this.
Just wanted to say thanks to the guys behind the counter this afternoon who were so friendly and packed up some brisket and beans for me. As it turned out, I didn’t get to eat until I landed at my destination, but the food was delicious and so carefully packed that it didn’t spill or leak as I navigated airport + plane + airport + cab + hotel check-in + elevator with multiple bags. That doesn’t happen by accident. I ate every bit of it and appreciated you the whole time....
The baked potato loaded with brisket was delicious and a good portion. 😋 I was texting my family I was trying not to slap the table haha. Some other reviews said the brisket was dry - I can see maybe it would be a bit dry without the sauce on top and other fixings for the potato but it was juicy and flavorful and really filling this way. I got a side and a drink and couldn’t even finish those by the time I was done with the brisket and potato.
