They offer a great selection of beers on tap, and the staff were friendly & had great service. I'd definitely recommend the Reuben and the sausage board!

First time here, but quite happy with the experience. The only negative for us was the schnitzel: bland by any standard. But everything else pegged the needle in the opposite direction. It was perhaps the best Bratwurst I've ever had, and I'm a sausage fiend. The pretzel and beer cheese were equally outstanding. The thing that truly sets this place apart though is the beverages: this place simply is outstanding. If, like me, you are bored with IPAs, more IPAs, and IPAs with crap added to sound edgy, District 9 is a refreshing oasis. And, if you love low-key, unDallas like places with awesome service, please, for the love of all that is holy, go elsewhere
..otherwise, I'm not going to be able to get into this place when word gets out.

During a recent visit, my German uncle introduced our family to a local establishment specializing in German cuisine. The ambiance was delightful, and the food quality was exceptional, resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. The opportunity to sample new dishes, coupled with the excellent German draft beer, was particularly memorable. I anticipate returning to this restaurant during my next visit to Vietnam.

This place has some of the best German food in the area, plus a wide selection of 30+ taps, including dark beer, sours, wheat beer, wine, cider - there's really a pour for everyone here. The service here is always excellent - the staff are very welcoming. Their reuben (my favorite), bratwurst (my boyfriend's favorite), and the plated schnitzel are all incredible. DON'T skip the food if you come here.

Waited at the bar for 15-20 minutes and the bartenders walked around me, saw people walk in after me and get drinks instantly. I have always tipped 20-50% the tab. There used to be a young lady that really took care of me; the guy bartender and new girl just seem to not want my money and that is okay, plenty more places with solid drinks and food.

We had some of the Mushroom Swiss burger and fries we've had in years. The burgers were hot, moist, and very flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy. Our server, Isabel was friendly, attentive, and friendly. Definitely will be back.

Looking for a chill environment, great food and service? This is the place. My Husband had the Reuben and he said it was excellent. I had a BLT, with crispy bacon. It was perfect. We shared a pretzel with pub cheese, also wonderful. We will come back again next time We are back in Dallas.

This is one of our favorite neighborhood spots. We come here weekly because it’s next door to our daycare, dance studio, and a block away from our elementary school. The staff is wonderful and super accommodating.
