They cater for my kids school in Austin. The food is such poor quality and small portions that even my 7 year will no longer eat it. These menu items are at valor north Austin recently. For around $4 a meal this is insane. My heart hurts for the children who rely on this for their only meals.
I have been blessed to have come across a job posting for diwa kitchen, both owners have been amazing bosses in being flexible, caring, and understanding. I am thrilled to be a part of this team. Like in any business there is always room to grow with diwa kitchen and if you are willing to put in the work the Diwa’s will certainly acknowledge and accommodate your request.
I loved working here! Letty & Tommy were very flexible and understanding of my situation when working with them. They are super sweet & caring bosses. Not only were they on top of quality in the kitchen but they were also on top of their employees, they made sure we were happy & cared about us as a whole. GREAT company to work for.
I would recommend Diwa kitchen to anyone that is looking to get into the food industry. The owners Tommy and Leticia Diwa are amazing people, I started as a food prep in 2020 and very quickly when up the ladder even though I had no experience in office they believed in me and the skills that I showed, I was 6 months pregnant at the time that I started there and they were very understanding and accommodating with my schedule. I left and came back due to my pregnancies and they always welcomed me with open arms and still worked with me around my schedule with me being a new mom. I loved working at Diwa kitchen and hope to one day go back once my children are a little older.
Taking the time speak based on my experience with working for Diwa Kitchen. I am very grateful for the opportunity that Lety and Tommy have granted me. I have been able to expand my horizons within my knowledge and my employment experience. I can say that Diwa Kitchen is a movement we looking to expand, if anyone is out there looking for an employment opportunity I would highly recommend working for Diwa Kitchen.
Not a EEO employer; highly discriminatory and favortism is the name of the game as it pertains to advancement within the company. Letty, the co-owner is very condescending in the way she communicates with her contractors (employees), and I'm positive thats the reason they have such high turnover.
Never get it right. Never listen to all the complaints moldy oranges, bad expired lettuce and this is a school they deliver f low quality produce for our kids they think they are feeding prisoners not children .
