I stopped by for a quick appetizer and margarita. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. I was so impressed with the drinks, the sauces, and the service. It was so good in fact I ordered all the sauces to go and I’ve been adding them to my food all week.

The bartender Eddy is the best! He is very attentive to the people seated at the bar, very friendly and makes it an enjoyable experience. The food is good, dessert is better and the drinks catch up to you.

The latest in the series of Mico restaurants (Mi Cocina, Mesero). Very good food. Nice and clean with good service. Menu is a bit limited, but a nice verity. A little TxMex but mostly more modern mexican with a good combination of flavors. More like Mesero than Mi Cocina. Definitely worth a try.Kid-friendliness: Yes good for families

We found Doce Mesas when searching for a nearby Mexican restaurant. I ordered the shrimp tacos with rice and coleslaw. The taco flavor was great, and the coleslaw was light and refreshing. Even though it came with rice, I don't think it's needed because tacos usually don't come with rice. For dessert, we had their famous Tres Leches Cake, which was delicious and light.The restaurant is roomy inside, and they also have an outdoor area with tables and chairs in front of a stage. The manager mentioned they'll soon start hosting music nights. Overall, the staff was really friendly and attentive.

Omgoodness, this place is amazing! The patio is beautiful and the bar right next to it, is even more splendid. Our server was super sweet and the manager David is such a great time!Definitely recommend the Margarita FROZEN or the LA Carolina. Chin Chin salad or the Dad Brisket tacos, can't go wrong!

Late lunch yesterday (about 2:30). The service was excellent (I sat at the bar). But, the steak, I ordered it rare. It came out well done. The bartender asked if it was ok (he apparently himself detected that it was not rare) and I said it was fine, because I did not have time to wait for it to be re-cooked....it had already taken awhile to get my food, not a crazy amount of time, but I didn't have time to wait any longer, I had to be somewhere. For the price paid, that degree of mistake (rare vs well done) should not have been made or should have been fixed quickly without even asking me. I feel sorry for the bartender, though; wasn't his fault and he provided excellent service. But a well-done steak, omg, I haven't been subjected to that sort of gastronomic torture for decades.
