I wish I could give less than one star.
Very disappointing experience at Dolce Riviera. We were never told it was a mandatory 3-course meal. We only chose one dish each, but entrée and dessert were brought without asking and we were charged for everything — our bill came out to over $600+, which felt very misleading.
When we questioned it, our server Megan showed attitude and the service was extremely slow. I also have a seafood allergy (which was mentioned), yet scallops were still served and I ended up having mild allergy symptoms after — which is a serious safety concern.
On top of that, some interactions made our group feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We left feeling overcharged and disrespected. Not worth it.

My fiance and I came here on Valentine's Day for the Brunch special and the overall experience was good. Our server, Sarah, was so sweet and her service was amazing. Her energy and smile lifted the space, we appreciated her a lot. The food tasted very fresh.

Tonight, my boyfriend and I attended Dolce Riviera for our 3 year anniversary. I would like to note i very rately leave reviews but this place went above and beyond for our special night.
First, lets start with the restaurant itself. It was our first time in the area and took us WAY too long to find parking but they are connected to a parking garage and have complimentary vallet parking which I thought was neat. No parking was not difficult, we just didnt know. We had shiwn up a little late and had given them a call to let them know and they were so nice and actually directed us to the parking garage. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the lack of overhead lighting, the simple yet beautiful color schemes and the greenery, it was a gorgeous venue. They have indoor, outdoor and covered patio seating which suits groups of all sizes. We sat on the covered patio and they had heaters set up and it wasnt cold at all.
Now the food. OMG it was delicious! I have dietary restrictions and deathly allergies which makes it really difficult and somewhat embarrassing to eat out but i had multiple people ask me about these allergies instead my of saying “btw im allergic to ___” and feeling like a nuisance. They also confirmed what substitutions were made in order for me to be able to eat it which i found very comforting. We got the beef carpaccio, 3 limoncellos between the both of us, I ordered the cacio e pepe with salmon, and my bf got gnocchi al tartufo for his entree. With my dish, the sauce was creamy and delectable, the salmon was hands down the best salmon I have ever had. Crispy, not chewy, skin and not fishy at all. My bfs gnocchi was so good and creamy, not tough. The truffle was definitely seemed to be a truffle oil but was still very pronounced and not over powering.
Now the service. The SERVICE was amazing! We were not bothered at all. This place has silent service down to a T. They ofc actually checked in us but not so much that we felt bothered or rushed and everyone was so nice and hospitable. I wish we got the name of our server, this young man was the best and so hospitable! I especially appreciate that he didn't mock or correct my horrible pronunciation which probably sounded like nails on a chalk board! 😂
At the beginning of our meal he asked if we were celebrating anything which we replied yes our anniversary. At the end of the meal he gave us a complimentary cannoli and a sweet note which the staff signed. Yes, im aware this is probably a policy they have in place but it really meant alot and made us feel even more welcomed. We will be coming back as often as we can! Our meal in total (after tip) was about 170$ but let me tell you it was well worth the money! We will be back! Thank you to the dolce riviera team for making us feel even more special on our already special evening.

Food was unfortunately not up to par and the service was not in line with the pricing. We waited a long time for drinks when we could see them from our seats. If they can figure these things out then the restaurant is beautiful with incredible ambiance and great drinks. Great place to go to get drinks and chat with friends in an upscale environment.
We were there for Christmas and waited for almost an hour for them to honor our reservation!! The food was only ok, but the worst part was that the valet service parked our car illegally in a no standing zone and we were fined $86.00 by the city of Dallas!! We contacted the restaurant and they won’t help us because the valet service is a contractor and not employees. DOLCE RIVERA contracts them out. They won’t help us recover the money. HORRIBLE experience!

I would’ve given this place five stars; however, one thing I did not like at all was that when the waiter came to refill my water, she was touching the rim of my cup with the pitcher and doing it to other people’s cups as well. That was not sanitary at all and I did not enjoy the rest of my meal after I noticed the waiter did that.
Server Eduardo was great!! Loved him so much

It's rare a rest as tent in Dallas both amazing aesthetic and food! Dolce Riviera ticked both. The food was outstanding and our server had the most amazing attitude. Loved my experiencee & will be back again.

Unfortunately the experience left a lot to be desired. The sommelier was great and very helpful and friendly. The food was not that appetizing for a restaurant of this $$$ threshold. The service felt very rushed and the impression was that we should be held to the 7:30-9:00 reservation time although the restaurant was only a quarter full and wasn't going to close till 10:00. Not the type of New Year's Eve experience we are used to in the metroplex. I don't like to leave negative reviews and would not if multiple factors didn't weigh into an overall mediocre experience.
Awful experience at Christmas day brunch buffet. The food was terrible, very limited option. The desserts were just bad. Sad that they charged $100 per person, and served food worse than $10!! Plus we had to wait more than an hour even after having a reservation. The server never checked in, didn't fill the water.
