Mediocrity has become the norm at some establishments, this one included. Is it too much to ask to have a friendly greeting, check on your customer after their food arrives to see if all is good, and make a positive comment of some sort before they leave on their way? I asked for bacon on my breakfast sandwich and didn't get it. No one checked on me. Walked past the host stand when leaving and two employees chatting said nothing to me. Their veggie burger is SO good (I found it very strange that they asked me what temp i wanted it cooked…sooo…i just said well done - it turned out great). Their fries are REALLY good and overall, i highly recommend dining there! I ordered my food to go, but the service was great.
Dallas is “iced in” currently so we walked over to restaurant inside the Renaissance Hotel last night. We were grateful that they were open during the ice storm and the restaurant was packed. Service was a bit slow understandably, but the food was actually good and the staff seemed to be enjoying the challenge of the situation and were smiling while interacting with guests.
