I came here to celebrate my anniversary while still recovering from surgery, and the experience was extremely upsetting.

While waiting for our car, a woman bumped into my injured leg twice, causing pain. I even asked her to watch my leg after the first time. I am in a full leg brace and crutches. Moments later, her husband stepped backward onto my foot and did not move. He was standing on my foot, on my injured leg, long enough that I had to yell and hit his leg to get him to step off because I was in pain. This was not a quick accidental step.

What made the situation worse was the manager’s response. Instead of checking on me or addressing what had happened, I was told to lower my voice. I felt dismissed and blamed while actively injured and in pain.

I came here to celebrate a special occasion and left hurt and disappointed. Accidents happen, but how staff responds matters. The lack of empathy and poor handling of this situation was unacceptable.

She said she was the manager but later see the card she. Handed me was for Peter Schmitt.

I've heard so much hype about Drakes for a while and me and my girlfriend decided to celebrate our 3 years here. Service was okay expected a little more as it felt like the server didn't really want to wait on us. Food was decent, but didn't walk away amazed. Drinks weren't consistent as we ordered a French 76 and the first round was amazing but the second tasted terrible.

My waiter Ivan was the best as always! He gives the best service and all around experience. Been coming here for years and he's my waiter each and every time! Wouldn't change it!

This was my first time to eat at Drake's - yes, I am probably the one person in Dallas who had never been. Everyone in my family has been several time. It was everything they boasted about it and more. The food was delicious . I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. The lobster escargot appetizer was so yummy. Our waiter Joey was great - perfectly attentive and very friendly. Very nice wine list and the general manager stooped by to say hello and was very helpful. We will definitely go back!

We had a great experience! Food was amazing as well as the ambiance. Honey truffle chicken was the star of the show!

1. They were supposed to have a card for my guest at dinner and didn't. 2. Didn't take our coats and small booth was site tight, they finally offered. 3. Steak knives and utensils and plates not given to us when food came out. 4. Steak was not cooked how we ordered it but they never came back to check.

This is an elegant and attractive, busy meeting spot. Most of the tables are booths, and this reduces the noise level dramatically. We could have a pleasant conversation without difficulty. Our server, Carly, was charming and helpful. The menu stretches beyond typical steakhouse fare, with pasta and pizza dishes, as well as fish and chicken. You must try the 24 layer strawberry cake for dessert!

Drakes Hollywood is where you need to be. From the speakeasy Hollywood steakhouse vibe to the top tier cocktails and exquisite food. The Parmesan crusted snapper was crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside plated on top of cheese filled ravioli and a zesty lemon butter sauce paired with a Blanton's old fashioned.

Scammed at the bar.
I almost never make reviews, however when I last visited Drake’s my friends and I had one round of drinks at the bar before getting seated to our table. After checking my bank statement I noticed the bartender decided to tip himself more and what I had originally left. We paid over $500 in food w/ 20% tip for our table, no matter what I left the bartender I feel like they shouldn’t be scamming the customers for to tipping higher. I’ve called Drake’s twice and addressed it and I never got a follow back call or fixed my bank statement with the original payment. I barely got an apology from the second phone call. If you decide to visit Drake’s, take a picture of your bill after tip.

Drakes was cool. We had reservations at 7:45 and they didn’t seat us for about 15 minutes. They couldn’t or shall I say wouldn’t split the checks which is lazy. I’ve worked in the restaurant business before and it’s that that hard.
Probably wouldn’t come again. Also valet is trash.

Food here is amazing, cocktails flowing and the atmosphere is definitely something to brag about. I do recommend having a reservation in place, we ordered steak and crab and were not dissatisfied. There was a piano man the evening we went. All in all an incredible location for a date night.

I like this place a lot. There is a dress code so make sure you check their site. The drinks are definitely pricy one drink was like $20, but the food and place was really good. They have a live musician so its a vibe.
