Really love this place. Excellent food and a great atmosphere.
They have my favorite crab cakes Benedict in Dallas, and rival what you can get in Maryland or San Francisco. Their hash browns are amazing.
Service can be hit or miss (I've had 1 or 2 really awful, inattentive servers here, but most have been great).

This was the perfect place for lunch after visiting the Dallas Arboretum. Only a 10 min drive and the food was really delicious. I had the Lunch Express with the Pesto Chicken Salad and the Tomato Blue Cheese soup. 😋

When you first enter, the atmosphere is lovely and staff greet you with the biggest smiles. The waiter we had was so so sweet, never let our glasses go empty and was super helpful with deciding what to eat. ALWAYS get the popovers with strawberry butter, it's our favorite thing. As for the meal, we had migas and it was absolutely delicious.
Dietary restrictions: If you are someone who's keto or can't really have sugar / carbs they have tons of options and are always willing to substitute!
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is not tiny like most places. Every table was a family with children and they were all so happy. They devoured their mickey mouse pancakes

Great looking place with a wonderful patio. Food that is great with just a hint of the unordinary! You won't ever feel like this reminds me of X.
Put them on your list!

My first time visiting today and the service and food was awesome!!!! I like the setting, the booths and spacious and kid friendly. I had the chicken salad sandwich and my daughter had pancake and bacon very affordable for us. Staff and manager or owner was nice too! Thank you all definitely coming back.
Parking: It’s open with other eating spots
Kid-friendliness: Awesome for kids too

The food was bland and had zero seasoning. We ordered an omelette, oatmeal, avocado toast, side of eggs and coffee.
The "avocado toast" came with two basic slices of grocery store sandwich bread - toasted and cut into triangles - with a scoop of really plain avocado on the side? It was weird to spread avocado onto plain toast yourself...with avocado that didn't cover more than 1 full piece of bread.
The drip coffee and eggs were watery.
We told the waiter the food wasn't good and he didn't know/wasn't trained how to handle that feedback. We would not go back, unfortunately.

I normally go to the Uptown location but decided to try the one in Lakewood. Service was great but the menu and how they make the food is different from Uptown. Unlike the Uptown location, I could not request my Oatmeal to be made with just water instead if milk. This is inconvenient for people that don’t do dairy. Also, the Oatmeal only came with pre-made mix of nuts and raisins. I asked could I just have the raisins and no nuts and they said it was pre-made. What if I was allergic to nuts? There was no fruit or brown sugar for the Oatmeal like the Uptown location. Overall I did not like how everything was pre-made and not customizable at all
My BF found out about this place, so we decided to try it out for the first time. I had the Monte Cristo & it was awesome! We will definitely be coming back to this spot again. Also, the pop-overs are good too!

Average, which isn’t a bad thing. Had the wildfire chicken sandwich. Chicken has cooked great, juicy and crispy. But the sandwich overall was dry - not enough sauce and the bread was very dry and hard. But hey, I guess that’s just toasted ciabatta?
Would come again.
