I came early to an appointment in the area. I had some time so I stopped by Dream Cafe. The service was friendly & the food is great!

Neighborhood cafe built on vibes. Food was good but the drinks (alcoholic/specialty coffee/fresh juices & smoothies) are ?!

The food is so so good every time! I recommend making a reservation because they are very busy for brunch on the weekend.

My restaurant experience here was terrible. The food wasn’t great, and I found an eggshell in my pancake which I literally spit out in front of her. When asked to have the ticket adjusted- the waitress alleged to the manager that I’d eaten most of the pancake which wasn’t true. Couldn’t help but feel that race was a factor given I was the only Black woman in the venue. My advice to the staff would be to not judge a book by its cover.

Vegetarian options: The vegan tofu dish is not good at all.

Recently visited Dream Cafe in Dallas, and I had a great experience. The food was pretty good.

But what really stood out was the exceptional service. Our server was incredibly attentive and helpful, making sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. The aesthetic of the cafe was another highlight—it’s a cozy spot that added to the overall great experience. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Where do I start. When we arrived, we were not seated until we inserted ourselves in the vision of our server. He sat us outside and we waited 40 minutes just to get water! Afterwards nice server came to our table and took our order, after 20 minutes our food came and it was nothing to write home about at all! Drinks were mediocre at best. The bill did not match our experience at all. It is definitely not the dream! It's more of a mild nightmare.

My first time visiting the new uptown location, new being relative. I think they’ve been there three years. Everybody was super friendly and helpful and the food was good, probably would’ve been a five star experience, but I asked for my bloody Mary spicy and it was not. The crabcakes on my Benedict were amazing, but the eggs were overcooked.

We really enjoyed our experience here! It's in a great location, and is not too busy during the day. Misty really took care of us! She was very nice and accommodating. The manager even came out and greeted us. We sat on the front patio which had huge fans so it was really hot. The food was really good as well....they say you can't go wrong with anything you order and they might just be right. I had the Cloud Cakes & The Energizer juice. My wife had the Chicken and Waffles - she wasn't a fan of the gravy - but they were both very good! We will definitely be back!

Parking: Paid parking lot across the street behind the Standard Pour - $5 an hour during the week.
