Drove all the way from Houston, Texas to eat here made a reservation. Only a handful of waitresses were in there nobody came in the front to agree does we just stand there? We walked around for 20 minutes. We asked somebody if they could see us 12 ounce steak. They want $30 for it and it’s very thin looking salad appetizer and did not look too promising. I think it’s more hype. They need more people in there. The bar was empty. I try to get a beer. I donate a 30 minutes of my time
A Dallas institution for mesquite grilled steaks.

Thanks to a tiktok video I saw, I found this place. I normally don't frequent Dallas since my rave days are long gone over 30 years ago, but this little gem of a place is on my radar. Dunstons off Harry Hines was incredible value. Shrimp cocktail, salad, baked potato, baseball filet, drink and rolls for $40.

Very nice and comfortable atmosphere! Excellent service! The food? Oh my God! Amazing! My wife and I had the 10oz ribeye, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed broccoli, and green beans. Everything was top notch in quality and taste! One of the best steaks I've ever had! Highly, highly recommend!

Great food, great price. The potatoes being a double side is a bit weird, but pretty much everything on the menu is peak.

Love, love, love this place! I moved to the Dallas area in 1989 and I think we've been eating here since about 1994. My husband grew up around this area and would go eat here with his grandparents and aunts. You can't beat the prices and the staff is great! This time we went for a birthday celebration. We brought the pie for the birthday person and the staff brought plates and a pie cutter/server to help us out. Such a great place for informal gatherings and special occasions... They've got you covered no matter what

This is a good steakhouse. Not too expensive but still great Texas Steak. Made right by people who care. Atmosphere was cozy. Definitely be ready for the barbecue smell fills the restaurant and lengers with you when you leave.

This location was OK and our server was pretty good. My issue was the food didn't come out all the way hot. My appetizers came out cold. I complained about it. They put them in the microwave and brought out the exact same plate I sent back. Not new food, just the same order.
I also didn't know you couldn't make your own salad at the salad bar like the Lovers Lane location.

Service was marginal. We were seated in the area where the waitress would not arrive for 25 minutes. If that was so, then why were we even sat in that area? Steak was ok, nothing special. Broccoli was overcooked. Baked potato was very small. Dislike the individual portions for baked potato fixings, as this cheapens the overall Restaurant. Would not recommend and would not return.

Was looking for a place in Dallas that can do good steak fingers, unfortunately this place was not it. Steak fingers comparable to Dairy Queen. Recommend owners looking up Andy’s in Andrew’s TX, those are real steak fingers and if this place could deliver they would be blowing up. We will keep searching in Dallas for that spot.
Ribeye was good but for price I can go to Texas road house and get a better cut for the price. Will probably not be back again.
Service was great though, food was lacking.
