D’Vegan was not D’good.
My husband and I stopped during a road trip in which we had become absolutely ravenous. Honestly, there were several red flags, but we pushed forward anyway because hunger had overridden all common sense.
We were greeted by an odd smell coming from their cleaning supplies. The lady at the front desk seated us, handed us menus, and then vanished. My husband and I sat there wondering if we were supposed to ring a bell, clap twice, or summon her with a spell. Eventually, I walked up to the counter and rang the bell to get her attention. We decided to switch to a to-go order because the smell was really getting to my husband.
Then she disappeared again for at least 30 minutes. During this time, we watched customers arrive, wait, and then lose hope and leave. I also debated abandoning ship and finding a Subway, but at that point my husband and I felt too committed to the journey. When she finally resurfaced, the credit card machine needed another ten minutes to boot up and join us in the present day.
Once in the car, I attacked the food with the desperation of someone who’s been betrayed by both time and hunger. The food was somehow both greasy and bland. Usually if something is greasy, it at least comes with a little flavor as a consolation prize. We took a few bites and ended up throwing it away. We then vowed to never ignore the red flags, even in the depths of road-trip hunger madness.

If you’re craving for something crunchy, Spicy Cha Cha is the one to order here at D’Vegan. It comes with a savory vegan fish sauce, cucumber, lettuce and tomato slices, along with white rice. Satisfies my palate instantly!

We got the #51, #2, and #25 and we were really happy with the food. We went 5 or so years ago and the prices seemed to have remained steady since then. Excellent iced coffee.

Coming to D’Vegan was an experience I enjoyed and loved the food. We started with the #2&3 and had the #25, 27. We will come back to experience all the other great dishes that are available.
Great spot! Don’t be fooled because it’s hidden, everything is great and the staff is friendly .

Hidden gem in Dallas!
D’Vegan is more than just a restaurant—it’s a family’s heartfelt mission to share healthy, plant-based Vietnamese cuisine. The food is delicious, fresh, and surprisingly high in protein, which makes it perfect for anyone trying to eat clean while staying full and energized.
What touched me most is how humble and kind the owners are—simple, down-to-earth people working hard to spread veganism with love and sincerity. You can taste that spirit in every dish. They also sell the protein and few other stuff in boxes fresh everyday!
Highly recommend this place if you want a meal that nourishes both body and soul. 🌱✨

This place was great! Tons of options and friendly staff. Got the tofu rolls, eggplant rice dish, spicy royal soup, and a slice of mango cake to go. Everything was delicious, I wish I could have gone back to try more dishes! They also had a small selection of packaged shelf stable vegan food at the front counter. The only downside was that when you are heading into the restaurant, your nose will be assaulted by fish smell from the adjacent market. So be prepared for that on the way in.
Love this place for vegan

Good flavorful food. I was impressed by the owners patience in explaining the food to these three African American men. I was already sitting down eating when these 3 gentlemen walked in. The guy (I think he’s the owner) immediately told them “we only have vegan food here” initially I thought he was being judgmental assuming Blacks can’t be vegan. But my initial thought was wrong he was patient and answered all their questions. It was awesome to see.

I must say i didn't expect to get hashbrown patties here but glad I did. They were the scrunchies hashbrown patties ever and still fluffy on the inside. I myself am not vegan but had special requirements and this was the closest I could get to what I needed at the time. So glad I did. Anyway, this is a very dated place but seems to not be unknown as there were a few patrons who seemed very comfortable there and knew what to order. Anyway, if im in the area again id say I just may have to pop in for some more hashbrowns, lol. Now, go get your grub on.

I got the #14. The tofu was so yummy. The broth was yummy! Love that there’s a vegan spot that has pho, because I hadn’t had any in years.
This is a hidden gem, near a super market at the very end of a little food hall.

We first discovered this restaurant through Goji Vegan, the owner and chef who later joined D’Vegan.
Last year, we visited for lunch and were truly impressed — the food was amazing! And since it’s vegan, we felt good about enjoying as much as we wanted.
However, the only downside was the unpleasant smell outside the restaurant, which unfortunately discouraged us from returning.
This time, we decided to try Uber delivery — and we’re happy to say the food is still of excellent quality. It’s great to enjoy the same delicious meals from the comfort of home.
