Looking for a place in Dallas for great Tex-Mex food this is your place. This is a small
Place but it didn’t disappoint from start to finish. Sydney was our server and she was wonderful. I’m a sucker for frozen margaritas and this place had a great frozen and also made on the rocks with great consistency. We ordered the spinach queso followed by the fajita street tacos and the chicken Flautas, both dishes were prepared excellent. I have eaten at a lot of Tex-Mex and often disappointed but this place definitely won my vote. I would recommend to all friends to give this place a try.

Met a friend there a few days ago and let's just say there is no reason at all to go back. When you are one of the few people in there and the food and service both suck that says something in my opinion.

1 star. Came to E-Bar expecting margaritas and decent vibes. Instead, I got discrimination, attitude, and a manager who looked like he clocked out of a tractor pull and straight into my dinner—possibly drunk, definitely rude.
I was sitting outside with my service animal fully contained in a carrier (as in: not roaming, not barking, not even visible unless you were actively looking). Despite this, I was approached by a “manager” who introduced himself as “John”… except his real name is actually Matt. (If you’re going to kick someone out illegally, at least do it under your real name, cowboy.)
He proceeded to snatch my margarita out of my hands—mid-sip—before forcing me to leave purely because I had a legally protected service animal. Nothing like a little ADA violation to spice up your evening.
If you’re dining here with a service animal, or if you simply prefer staff who aren’t confrontational, dishonest, or smelling like a mid-shift beer break, go literally anywhere else. The food wasn’t good enough to justify the circus.

What I experienced here was a rude staff member and VERY apparent discriminatory profiling! I originally ordered online hoping for an efficient experience but decided to dine in since upon arrival, my food was not ready. When I suggested to the waiting staff to simply change it to a dine in table, they refused. The woman insisted it was their policy; however, this isn’t the first time I’ve asked to switch. This woman has been called out in other reviews below for being rude, the other hostesses didn’t give me this experience as I am (WAS)a frequent patron. “We have the right to refuse servicing you” was what I heard which made me realize their motivation is to not provide an excellent customer experience. I then asked to sit to get a drink instead since I was told I couldn’t dine in. They refused. Mind you, my food was already paid for. Not only was this embarrassing but it’s was plain mean and unnecessary. She, the older dark haired hostess has a very unprofessional approach to customer service which can be felt as soon as you speak with her. It seems that this behavior is encouraged by management as management also suddenly refused to provide dine in service. I looked around and to my disappointment I could see why I was being refused service. Mind you I NEVER have this issue with any other hostess when I’ve asked to switch a pick up order to dine in, I live so close and they’re not quick with their pick up services. This WAS a convenient choice for me. Would never recommend this place there’s plenty of Tex mex restaurants around. Skip this one

We tried E-bar for the first time recently and thought it was a solid tex-mex option in Dallas. Of note, this was a takeout order. We got the chips and queso, beef fajitas, and a cheese enchilada. The queso was a white queso which was delicious and also came with a great red salsa. The fajitas were good, but I have had better beef fajitas and usually like having the bone marrow butter with it. The cheese enchilada was also very delicious and I would order that again. Overall, this was a solid spot and I would be excited to go eat there in person next time and try more items on the menu.

Been here a few times when I come in from out of town. Always a great time and great food.
The service is always impeccable, I have never had to wait for anything.
The food always tastes and looks fresh.
The only knock I would give this place is that it can get very loud at times, because of the acoustics. It really does not bother me too much. Just have to speak louder than normal sometimes..
All in all I def recommend this place
