They got locked out by their landlords for not paying rent. Not a good sign for the future of this business.

Pay the rent. This location is closed. Update your calendar so people don’t arrive to a closed restaurant.

Poor customer service. Placed online order at 12:38pm on Sunday, said it would be ready by 12:47pm. I showed up at 12:54pm and it was not ready and the employee didn’t seem to have any care of/when it would be. I went to Starbucks, got a drink and came back. Still wasn’t ready. Waited a few minutes with others around me waiting for their to go orders. I waited until 1:15pm then had to walk over to the kitchen to get someone’s attention to cancel my order. The person behind me also canceled her order due to the same issue.Note to employees- Just because you don’t want to make eye contact with a customer it doesn’t make them go away. Customer service is important more now than ever, and I have been a loyal customer for years to the overall Vandelay brand. Note to the owners, as you intend to grow your restaurant empire in the Dallas area, make sure your quality and customer service don’t get lost, I support local and don’t enjoy leaving a negative review, but I also had a poor experience and in the end did not get to enjoy my order and the staff didn’t seem like it would affect them.UPDATE - After I went to the counter and asked them to cancel and the women said I had been refunded, my card was actually charged a few days later for the meal I canceled, did not pick up and did not eat. I spent the next few days trying to get in touch with someone at East Hampton, calling and leaving messages with to returned calls. I finally was able to connect with the manager Bobby who I gave all of the order info to and he said he would process the return. It’s now been a week since that call and I have yet to receive a return. Not to mention he didn’t seem to concerned that I waited 45 min for my to go order nor did I receive a “sorry we charged your card”.More annoyed with how this situation was handled than I was before, not to mention I’ve recently lost my job due to Covid so the charge on my card may not seem like much to some, but for me it does.Do better East Hampton, this is ridiculous.

Stopped in today for a late lunch and was not disappointed. We had the traditional Maine Lobster roll, the Spicy Lobster roll, pasta salad (my favorite), and sweet potato fries. All were so delicious - the staff was friendly and attentive! We’ll be back!

I finally was able to try this place out! I've had lobster rolls in NYC and Boston so I wasn't going to compare them to East Hampton but I was genuinely pleased. I placed my order online which was convenient and it had an estimated time of 8 minutes. I ordered the Connecticut lobster roll which was made warm. It came with a side of melted butter for me to top it off. It was pretty great! The bun was soft and warm, plenty of lobster in every bite. I also ordered a side of pesto pasta, I'll probably skip ordering that next time because it was just okay. I'll definitely be back for another lobster roll!

I'm not a fan of these expensive sandwiches or wraps. I am not feeling the HYPE. I so wanted to fall in love, but it was just ok. They look amazing and I am happy I finally tried it. You keep driving past a place long enough you get curious. Yes it was fresh the quality was good. It was loaded with meat and veggies. It was almost overwhelming. I definitely thinks it's worth trying. It just wasn't for me. The spot seemed clean, the staff was friendly. The price online was not the price quoted at the store. It was an experience and that's all I can say. I shared a sandwich with the bread. I did like the thin bread. I didn't like the Italian sandwich itself. I liked the turkey wrap better. I shared that too. Half of each was more than enough.

Great sandwiches, fast service but ownership evidently decided to stop making their delicious home made chips with the great seasoning. A bit of a disappointment.

Food quality, service, and value have significantly deteriorated over the last few months at the North Dallas location on Inwood Road. My order has been prepared wrong 3 of the last 4 times I have visited. The pretzel bun option has largely been replaced with a dry sesame seed bun that lacks any taste. The portion sizes have gotten smaller while the prices have gone up. I understand the challenges faced by restaurants right now and am more than patient and forgiving in light of this. But I am done going to this restaurant despite the significant convenience of the location.

Ordered the Fried Chicken Jack Sandwich through Uber Eats. Sandwich was completely raw... always one of my favorite places but concerned that this quality can make it out the door.

Crushed. Love their food, but no longer serving homemade chips with sandwiches. Importantly, they didn't reduce their prices to reflect without chips. I can't justify the cost. So sad.

Sandwiches we ordered were delicious, service was SUPER friendly and fast, can't wait to go back again and again!

The staff was sociable and attentive. This place has a great feel to it. This place has great reviews for a reason.

The three female cooks working on Christmas Eve at this location made the most delicious wraps. Everything was perfection - the chicken was juicy, the bacon, lettuce, dressing, crispy wrap. Best experience I've had at East Hampton's.

Called in and spoke to a lady to place an order for pick up. I was told it would be 30 mins. Once I got there they didn't even have my order placed and questioned me as if I was the one who made the mistake and called the wrong number. I had to wait all over again for them to make my order.
