Eddie V's Prime Seafood

Really sad. We specifically told reservations that we were coming to hear jazz. They never told us until we got there and stopped the manager that they had stopped jazz the week before. It was still on the website even stating the different groups that played different nights. I understand they were closing location BUT we should have been told. Even when we were being seated we said we wanted in area where we could hear jazz. She just smiled and seated us. ??‍♀️

Disappointed that there was no live music, even when a regular pianist arrived and was willing to play for tips only. Management did not allow him to play. No wonder it's closing. Management should rethink live music that's willing to play for tips only. Lots of enjoyable talent out there hungry to entertain.

Our appetizer and entrees each took an extended amount of time to come out. We were told because the restaurant had "a large catering order". Guests in the restaurant should supersede the catered ordered dishes. The steak I ordered medium was brought out later than all over entrees and was served to me rare. I sent it back to be cooked to medium and it came back out medium rare the second time. Since the other guests were halfway through their meal and our sides had been getting cold I agreed to keep my steak at medium rare for fear the meal would be over and i'd keep my party waiting if I sent it back to be cooked correctly a second time. The bananas foster dessert unfortunatly tasted so strongly of the liquor poured on top. It sadly was not good like previous times.

Amazing! They were so intensive to my mom‘s birthday! Our waitress is so sweet. Honestly, everyone there was amazing. The chef prepared the food amazingly. we will definitely be back! 

Everything went well, excellent food, and good service. Only complaint would be the long time we had to wait between courses. It took us more than two hours to order and finish our meals and we did not order dessert. It was Saturday night and busy.

Excellent as always! We absolutely love this place and every last bit of food & Drink is outstanding! Bobby, our waiter is excellent and attentive. Disappointed to find out they are closing the Oak Lawn Ave location

Went there for my fiancé birthday. We often enjoy celebrating special occasions at Eddie V's as they never disappoint in their food, attention to detail, service and making your special, that more special.

I'm so disappointed that Eddie V's will close on July 29th. They have a great Happy Hour with live music, excellent food, and drinks and we always receive great service from our server Bobby.

Service was excellent in the bar area. However, the crabcake was very fishy. And I've eaten at Eddie V's at least 150 times around the country over the last 10 years. I was a bit disappointed in the overall food, compared to the other ADV locations.

The restaurant was pretty much empty. It was really strange vibe in there. Not sure why they were not full like the other steak houses in Dallas. The service was awful, it was very slow and when we first sat down waited 10 minutes for someone to come bring water and take a drink order.

We had never been seated in the bar area. We actually preferred it to the main dining room. There was a jazz combo which made it a little louder but quite enjoyable. The meals are always great here. It's expensive but delicious

Amazing experience. Amazing service. Amazing foods. I had never been to Eddie V's and was so impressed, and pleased with the whole experience. We had salads, steak, fish, squid, and dessert. Every bite was delicious. It is $$$$ but worth it.

This was our first time here. Everything was great! The warm goat cheese salad was unbelievable. It had been recommended by family. Husband had seafood and I steak tartar, which was fantastic. We enjoyed everything and the service was 100% plus. Thanks for a great evening. See you again when in town

We love the food and drinks but the dining experience is over the top because of Bobby our waiter. He is truly a treasure and has us wanting to schedule our weekly date night there every week.
