Went in at my reservation time. Girl at the front desk was just walking around, not paying attention to who's coming in. Took us about 10min for her to talk us, and when she did, I told her that I had table RESERVED, she said “we don't have any tables right now” I told her again, “I RESERVED A TABLE”, she then says again, “yeah we don't have tables sorry” . I didn't fight it, nothing, just left with my partner and went somewhere else. Waste of time completely. Why make me reserve a table if once I get there their “isn't any tables” ridiculous. This whole place was a mess, including decorations, balloons kept falling by the entrance. It was a whole mess, not only that but the area full of drug addicts. Horrible, horrible.

We went for the Valentine's Day special. The food was great, customer service was great, overall great experience. A little pricey for what was offered but I had a great time

For how much the reservation was, I nd my valentine date were astounded at how unprepared the staff were for their own event. Our waiter was pretty clueless on their own instructions and barely checked on us. But due to the event, still charged a gratuity. It is a one and done for me. A shame, seemed like a nice environment.

Cafe Nubia is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is on point—welcoming, stylish, and full of energy. The food is next level: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was packed with seasoning and authenticity, and the portions were solid. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. Service was smooth and the atmosphere made it a great spot to relax, eat, and enjoy the experience. If you're looking for great food, great vibes, and a place that delivers consistently, Cafe Nubia is it. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to everyone I know.

We made reservations for 9 PM for my birthday. When we got to the restaurant, it was closed. Hours of operation said 12 AM closing the day of my reservation. It may be going out of business. Don't waste your time booking here.

My event at Café Nubia was beyond exceptional. The buffet was outstanding — so many options, and everything tasted amazing. The location and ambience are truly everything: warm, stylish, and perfect for creating a memorable experience. The staff was excellent from start to finish — accommodating, professional, and genuinely hospitable. The owner went above and beyond every expectation, and the chef? A 15 out of 10. The food alone will have me coming back. This is absolutely the place to host an event, big or small. The drinks were on point — we had mimosas for brunch — and every photo we took was Instagram‑worthy thanks to the beautiful setup. I can't say enough. Highly recommend Café Nubia for anyone looking for great food, great service, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Atmosphere and buffet were great with great price. The only issues were lack of service and very slow response when we did flag down the wait staff for everything half the time we were there. Other than that issue all was grand.

Great experience, went for the afrobeats and ambiance and it was great! Drinks, service and saxophonist were on point. Our party of 8 enjoyed the evening and we'll be back.

The service from our server was amazing. She was absolutely great and top tier. The ambience was exactly what I was looking for. Not too loud at the time we went. I knew they had an itinerary (SexySaturdays) they were about to head to when we left and we respected that, which is why we booked at the time we did. Also not sure if it was the restaurant or open table but I reached out about bringing in an outside cake as it was a birthday celebration and I didn't get a response until either I was already in route or after the fact. The reservation guidelines stated that the check could only be split 2 ways and we came prepared to that but then she rang up everybody separately charging the 18% gratuity to each person. Don't think that's right and also the reservation never eluded to a group fee that was also charged to everybody individually. As far as the food goes, the menu it had good flavors for the most part. Several people in my party, myself included, had to send something back because it just wasn't presented how the menu stated. The samosas were presented as potatoes and peas but it came to use greasy with meat inside. Lamb chops were cooked medium to medium rare but were completely tough on the outside. I understand the cultural vibes and it comes with cultural spices however the suya plate I got didn't state on the menu that it would be intolerable. Also the salmon dish didn't say it came with shrimp and a person in my party is allergic to shellfish. She didn't know the shrimp came on it so that had to be remade. Overall the food had good flavor but not the greatest. It was my first time there and it was my birthday.

The brunch buffet was so small. Like 8 items I used to be a full spread! And the service was poor, literally had to ask for details after they sat us down. Dang what happened! I used to love this Sunday Brunch Buffet!!!

The food and ambiance was good. I just thought the portions were small compared to the pricing. Service was decent. Waitress was very pleasant and friendly just took a long time to come back to the table. We went on a night that wasn't busy at all. So they didn't need our reservations. I wish they did b/c my partner did not receive his birthday dessert

We went on Wednesday, steak and cigar night. The steak was delicious for$16 for 16oz steak. The side was ok, veggies, but pricy for $7, for a small portion. Drinks were ok. However, it's over promoted w the ambiance, there was no other soles there but my husband and I and the staff that work there.
