We booked a high tea experience. We showed up but they told us there's a recent change of management so our reservation got lost in the shuffle. However, the new manager Logan did an excellent service recovery. He not only gave us complimentary tea, made another high tea reservation for us for the near future, but treated us with some desserts as well! So we ended up ordering from their menu. We had escargot and French omelette and both were delicious!

Four of us went for dinner on a Friday night. The place was empty. We were one of three tables the entire night. One table waited so long, they got up and left before food arrived. Our food took ages, The service was poor. The waitress was on her phone and talking to someone in the bakery area. The food was okay, not great. We had to go find her to pay and leave. The drinks are inconsistent, tasting different each round. Clearly they have a staffing issue.

Lunch took almost 3 hours since they were severely understaffed. It was at least 45 minutes before our order was taken. Then it took another 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was nothing special but expensive. Our waiter was great, but he was so busy running everywhere that every time he came around, he would apologize for the wait.

I can't give a star unless they make me. I'm not sure if the new management, but this place has gone down. I used to come here all the time during the fall and winter months 2021. I'm pissed because we got warm tap water after waiting almost 20mins they only had salads in the menu and my lettuce was dirty. The floors were dirty and I had to clean my own seat. Don't get me started in the waitress with her black hoodie and animal fur all over her. I will not be going back to this one. Just close and start over.

It was laughably bad. I got the French dip and my sister got "truffle fries".It came out to be $28.15. When we first got there no one was seating us and when we finally got sat we were just given water and not asked what we want to drink. The waitress didn't tell us her name either. It felt like they made it known as much as possible that we were inconveniencing them by eating there. When we finally got our food the "truffle fries" looked exactly like the regular fries that I got. Nobody refilled our waters until we asked. The lady in the dress was nice though. I don't think that was worth almost $30 and the food tasted really old and the fries were wet and soggy. Straight up nasty food.

Tried to come here today for lunch and there's a sign on the door that said they didn't make rent so as of today they are closed!

I met a friend at Edith's (Watter's Creek) today at 11:00 for an early lunch. It was our first time here, and my friend had heard good things about their pastries. The young woman who greeted us said they had just opened, did we want food? Um, we said yes, will that work? She said yes and seated us. We both ordered a Croque Madame sandwich and a green salad. The menu folder contained cocktail and beer offerings, so we asked about wine and she brought us a wine list. We were served pretty quickly which was surprising, because there only seemed to be the young woman and a young man working. That turned out not to be a problem, because not one other customer came into the restaurant until just as we were leaving at 1:00 and they seemed like friends of the two people working. The ingredients in our sandwiches seemed fresh, but they were room temperature (the bread was not toasted) with a lot of bechamel sauce. It was not very flavorful. The salad was a pile of greens with some sliced radishes and what tasted like a light dressing of olive oil. Our server told us of the four desserts on offer. We chose lovely little lemon meringue tarts that were the best part best part of our lunch. The service wasn't bad - our server was very polite, but the food was not very good and the lack of customers during what we thought would be a busy lunchtime made us think that Edith's is struggling.

Vivika and Taylor both took excellent care of us today. Food and coffee were awesome!! Highly recommend this place to anyone. Clean and family environment. Love this place!

Sorry no pictures. I've been off my game lately‍. The decor was nice. Open space not crowded at all. Good for family gatherings. This is the only reason for the high rating. The food was blah! Had the croissant Benedict. The croissant was flaky and fluffy unfortunately it was not buttery. The hash browns were the store bought kind with little seasoning. I really wished the meal was better because the ambiance was nice for a Saturday morning.

I had a high tea private event here yesterday. The event and the photos turned out beautiful. The manager Thomas and the waitress Maddie were phenomenal. Thomas ensured my event was going to be marvelous and it was. There was a few mishaps but overall the event went so smoothly. The staff at Edith's Bistro in Allen works really hard, they are good people and genuine. I was happy with my pastries and many of the guest loved their meals that they ordered. The fluffy pancakes, the French toast, Shirazi salad, omelette, avocado toast. Thomas went above and beyond to make sure my aunt with dietary restrictions was able to get her salmon baked in a pan with salt and pepper and lemon juice. He was super accommodating. Maddie was an angle she went above and beyond to decorate the room and make our Mother's Day special. God bless the Edith Bistro Cafe Allen staff ! I would definitely come back for another event in the future.

Prime location. Sadly the food vs price is really not up to what is expected in French cuisine based establishment. We had the following for the family. Started with Calamari. The ratio of peppers to actual calamari was pretty weak, making an already so-so execution below average. I had the ratatouille tartine. Basically this version had marinara poured over the veggies. Too heavy, too much marinara, so it was basically vegetable sauce over bread. Wife had a sandwich that was also not well thought out or executed. Our daughter had a burger and the meat just tasted off. Don't expect a lot on that one but for the price needs to be at least decent. The fries were good. Service was pretty decent considering many restaurants dealing with a tough labor market. Our waiter was very nice.

Struggling between 2 and 3 stars. Ordered the tomato bisque during brunch... which is $8. Its supposed to have creme friase. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they stirred it in. No...after seeing yelp pics....they totally didn't add it. Hub got the French dip. It had cubed meat, not sliced meat...which makes it un-french dip to me. The other Edith locations has it sliced. The fries were undercooked and soggy. :*( The decor was cute, the drinks were good and the server was attentive.

We came to Edith's this past Saturday for lunch. For how expensive this place is the food is very subpar. I got the avocado toast and it's $13 for a slice of bread an egg, some chopped avocado and one piece of bacon and nothing else on the plate. Our waitress was somewhat attentive, but I noticed all the wait staff were all dressed differently and didn't really look professional for the setting. The most disappointing thing was the bathroom was noticeably dirty. I took my toddler into the bathroom and could visibly see how dirty the floors were. Also, there isn't a changing table, so I had to leave the restaurant with my 6 month old and walked to the watters creek bathroom to change him. I've been coming to this location since it opened and it seems like every time I come in the food and experience is different. When it first opened the food was great. I always leave wondering why we decided to come back again.

Went this morning for a birthday high tea. Reservation was for 11:30, table was set in the separate room and yet we were not seated until 11:40. Staff is unorganized and unprofessional. Our two waitresses looked like they came in the outfits they wore to the club the night before (no one was wearing a uniform so you could not tell who actually worked there). The waitress broke two different things within the first 10 minutes, didn't know how to pronounce things, couldn't answer basic questions about the menu. I complained and nothing was done. For $45 this was insane. Not worth it at all. So disappointing because the location is great and the decor is cute.

This place is amazing. It's beautiful and the service is great. I go here for brunch almost every weekend and the food is incomparable. The hostess was really sweet and the servers are all super helpful and quick.
