Servers are very friendly and explained any items we weren't familiar with. Gluten free pastry options were yummy and so was the coffee. Hubby got a Nutella empanada (not gf); I got a gf coffee cake which was incredible.

Pros: Large and easy access parking lot. Spacious coffee shop, I liked that the music wasn’t too loud and there were different seating options.Bought a coffee bag of theirs that I am excited to try at home! It has a unique flavor profile and won in a competition.Cons:I asked for a bombom coffee. Paid for it and then they said after the fact that they can’t open their condensed milk so to pick another drink. I had already paid and had to then choose a cheaper drink. I wasn’t given back the difference or offered something additional to make up for the difference.Ordered an empanada, it was okay tasting, wouldn’t get it again. The coffee shop closes rather early (5 pm) so I had to leave and find another shop to continue my work. The cons were not dealbreakers for me, but just felt that I should share with the business. I will be back!

Tried this place out because I was in the area and am always on the lookout for new coffee/pastry spot. It was pretty full of customers when I went in, but it was very cute and welcoming. I ordered a caramel macchiato with almond milk and an almond croissant. Foam was perfect, taste was perfect, temp was perfect, croissant was warmed up and also perfect :)

An adorable little Latino hole in the wall coffee shop with delicious coffees. The service is always nice and friendly and they recommend drinks depending on your tastes. Only took a star off because they're closed on Sundays when I wish I could grab a mocha!

I recently visited El Porton and had an absolutely delightful experience that compelled me to share my thoughts. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and pastries set the perfect tone for a great visit. What truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service provided by the talented barista, Orion. His attention to detail and passion for crafting the perfect cup of coffee was evident in every sip. Orion not only demonstrated impressive expertise but also added a personal touch that made my coffee experience memorable. Moreover, the kindness of the owner added an extra layer of warmth to the entire visit. It's apparent that the owner is committed to creating a welcoming space for coffee enthusiasts like myself. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and genuine care for the community truly stood out. He's originally from El Salvador and imiggrated to start a coffee shop in the US. He sells coffee from his family's farm - I'll let him tell you the rest of that story. The coffee selection was diverse, offering a range of flavors that catered to different preferences. The quality of the brew exceeded my expectations, making it clear that El Porton prioritizes excellence in every aspect of their service. The cozy ambiance, the skillful barista, and the friendly owner make it a standout destination for coffee lovers. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of not only great coffee but also a warm and inviting environment. I look forward to my next visit to savor more of their delightful offerings!Kudos to Orion and the entire team for creating such an outstanding coffee haven!Parking: Plenty of spots to park!
