First let me say I'm pretty picky when it comes to pozole. Pozole is a subjective meal so, take what I say as just my personal review. Large chunks of tender pork, just the right amount of hominy and the base was seasoned unlike many places I have had pozole that is watered way down. As a personal preference, I like fresh jalapeños, cabbage, radishes, leafy cilantro and lime in my pozole. The garnish here was iceberg lettuce, finely chopped cilantro, jalapeños and lime. It isnt the Abuelita recipe I love the most but, it certainly hit the spot for the first meal of the day on a Saturday morning. 😉 IYKYK!
Very friendly staff, the carved and painted table and chairs are beautiful. Worth the stop for sure!
Love it
Worst experience ever 😪 terrible customer service, wrong order, cold food and raw potatoes, and on top of that expensive, NO GOOD. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!!
Food was a little bland and little cold. also Paíd with their QR and they told me i didnt i had showed them and they still wanted me to wait after showing proof.
Great and delicious food
I have never seen such artistically and beautifully decorated restaurant furniture! Every bench and chair feature hand-carved (3-D), hand painted Mexican scenes on both front and back -- and even on the seats themselves! It's like visiting an art gallery while you're enjoying the great Mexican food! Our server told us that a friend of the owner did the beautiful decorations just a few months ago.
Best mexican food I have ever had. Service is always amazing. They need to increase their prices for how good it is
Wow wow wow !! We had one day in Dallas and always try to get one Mexican meal in. I read this was a solid place and this is so true of El Pueblo. The menu is not overwhelming but has all the well known dishes and then some. I had Menudo, Green Chicken Chilaquiles, chips and salsa and my husband had Pozole. Needless to say we have left overs. Our waitress was a sweet out going woman, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. Everyone was friendly. I recommend d a visit to this place. Hopefully we will be able to return one day.
Everything was amazing
The murals on the chairs and benches are beautiful, but they are not comfortable at all.
