An institution on Jefferson Blvd., the restaurant has a wonderful menu of excellent dishes, listed in both Spanish and English. My friend and I had the #19 taco plates with beef tacos with rice and beans. They were delicious!
I have been here many times over the years, usually while working film events at the Texas Theatre. The food has always been excellent and reasonably priced.

Yesterday I went to eat at the restaurant, the food was delicious. I was served by a waiter named Alejando, who was excellent. He made me and my family feel special, even though he had several tables. He never neglected us. He was always attentive. I just didn't like the cashier's attitude. I think he was the boss's son, a boy who had a big face.

Good flavor, low quality food; servers are polite but I rather have refills. Be ready to pay extra for chips and salsa.

The food used to be good here now it’s just gross. It’s not real Mexican it’s text mex and they give you canned nopales not fresh, canned refried beans. The Barbacoa is not barbacoa it’s stewed meat. They charge you for refills without informing you. They charge you for chips and salsa on the table. I left there and will not be back also, the young Hispanic guys at the front are so rude.

Enjoyable experience. Try the tacos!! Can’t go wrong.
Got four tacos + lg horchata for less than $13. The tacos are about two bites. Price isn’t bad. Atmosphere is family oriented.
Delicious food, wonderful staff, and even the customers are cool to talk to while you wait for your food. This place is an Oak Cliff staple for good reason.
