This Mexican restaurant is located in a lovely, low key part of Montreal - a neighbourhood restaurant set on a street for pedestrians. It appears that Wellington Ave is closed off to cars, allowing pedestrian foot traffic. A great idea for the summer The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. Quaint, tasteful and authentic. We ordered the gaucamole starter and tomatoe soup. Both were were very tasty. We also enjoyed the pork tacos, chicken tostado (mole sauce) and the salmon with Chipotle dinner. The chipotle sauce on the salmon was delicious. All dishes were tasty and well priced, given our inflationary times. We would have tried the housemade dessert if we were not so full. The service was attentive. The two servers worked the entire room with about 10 tables and did not miss a beat. they served us immediately and provided the table with a large jug of water and left it on the table allowing customers to refill as needed. A lovely spot that I highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of setting up with these folks today for a school event. So we had to try them out. Food was excellent. wish I'd have taken I picture now. Staff was awesome. Hope to setup with them again in the future.

Good food, good Sangria, but a bit pricy. (92$ (Tx inc and tip)or 2 + a pitcher of sangria). Like i said in the title more a bar than a retaurant. At 19:30 pm it was really noisy, not a good place to bring a first date. The Sangria was served quickly, but it took a good 40 min before getting served. Happy to try it but I do not think I will go back. There is better restaurants on the same street.

We absolutely love this establishment! They catered my son’s wedding. A wedding that totaled 140 people. The food was delicious and the owners were so incredibly sweet! Thank you so much. Though we don’t live in the area, if I am back In Missouri will definitely eat their yummy food FYI. Price was lower than expected. What a blessing you were to a special day!!❤️❤️❤️ 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was fantastic! However, the waitress with the very short skirt was VERY RUDE. She completely ruined what would have been otherwise a great evening. At first, when we arrived 10 minutes earlier, she opened the restaurant door and said that the restaurant was closed and that it was too early to enter. We replied by asking(kindly, because no one deserves less) if we could just wait inside for the remaining 10 minutes, to which she replied by rolling her eyes as she reluctantly opened the door. That made us feel very uncomfortable, especially because we were there to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. Later in the evening, about 20-30 minutes after the restaurant opened, she passed by our table and with her bottom she tossed the things we had on the table(granted, it could have been an accident), almost spilling the drinks on top of my wife, and instead of apologizing, she just kept going as if nothing had happened. So, when she was coming back, I called her to let her know of what had transpired; I told her that she had tossed our things while she was passing and that she should be more careful because it almost caused an accident(I wouldn’t have said anything if she had just turned an offered a quick apology), to which she replied in a very cynical tone(and a smile on her face) that WE should be the ones careful with where we place our things. We were shocked because our things were on top of the table, where they should be. And then she swiftly left, I then replied while she was leaving that we are the customers here(trying to imply that that’s not how one treats a client while serving at a restaurant), to which she replied again loaded with cynicism(and a smile) “I know”. We felt insulted and, overall, mistreated. Nevertheless, the waiter that was ACTUALLY assigned to our table, the one with a beard, was very nice. The difference between that selfish brat(the waitress) that carelessly ruined our night and the gentleman(bearded waiter) that made sure we were appropriately taken care of, was like day and night. No one should be treated the way that girl treated us tonight. On a different note, my compliments to the chef.

This was the best Mexicain I had since going to Puerto Vallarta. I had the Mole chicken tortillas. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had the chicken fajitas and the taste was amazing. This is really authentic Mexicain cuisine and can
