With immense potential, this place could easily exceed expectations. The overall setup left me impressed. Although the staff was friendly during my visit for dinner, the wait time of one hour for reheated frozen and canned food was excessive. I anticipated more from the venue itself, and unfortunately, it didn't leave a lasting impression. If you ever aspire to achieve greatness, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
First time going on a Sat. afternoon before attending a concert and I was pleased with the atmosphere. Owner/Host was attentive and provided good customer service. We decided to try the wings/fries and they came out hot and tasty? Emerald City has potential and I plan on returning with family and friends because I enjoye my first visit to this spot.
Kendall was very friendly however I am from Ohio and expected some great southern cuisine. The fried chicken was really good. The sides were canned with no seasoning cooked in. They sprinkled seasoning on top of yams and cabbage. Both lacked flavor and were cold. The Mac n cheese tasted like frozen with cheese added to top and microwaved in a styrofoam cup until cheese melted.
